We’re big fans of hibachi and sushi and we’ve gotten tired of the other hibachi places in town. We decided to try this place tonight and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was wonderful and the portions were huge. My husband got the chicken and steak combo and he really enjoyed it! Their honey carrots were out this world! I ordered the tuna roll and the crab roll and both were made fresh and delicious. Their tuna had really good flavor. My husband said that the people who work there were very friendly and treated him kindly. We will most definitely be back!

Super fast and friendly service and excellent food, too! Wonderful selections fixed up fresh after you order. Everything tastes great and is fixed correctly. They are really nice and everything is prepared and presented so beautifully. This is a great place to eat or to pick up take out from. They offer a menu with ample choices so there’s something for everyone.

I first tried Fumiyoshi when they were located in a very small building where Chick Filet in Lenoir is currently located, and I thought it was the best food I’d ever eaten, with those big chunks of steak, and shrimp with rice and sweet carrots was awesome, then I threw some of that shrimp sauce on it and I was hooked, not to mention the enormous amount of food that came in the box, I had to make two meals out of mine every time we got supper there. I’m not sure what happened but the quality of the food began to decline and the steak wasn’t big chunks anymore, it was cut smaller and there was less of it, the shrimp started getting smaller and fewer in number, the amount of rice on your plate took up the slack for awhile but it soon followed suit and became less just like the meat, the overall quality of the food, the service, and the value declined to the point that I simply stopped eating there.
But just the other night I decided to give them another try, they had relocated not far from where the original, small restaurant was, just a skip and a jump from McDonald’s. I must say that to my delight the food at the new location was absolutely delicious and the portions were quite adequate, reminiscent of the first time I tried it back in the early 2000s.
So, if they continue to serve the food the way they serve it now, I’ll be a loyal customer for as long as they hang around..

Great value for the money. My husband and I are pretty frequent diners here. The customer service is amazing and the food is great. Parking is very limited, but other than that, we really enjoy it!

I had such a great experience here! The food was absolutely delicious—everything came out fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, which made the meal even better.
What really stood out, though, was the customer service. Our waitress, Kaia, was wonderful! She was attentive without being overbearing, friendly, and made us feel genuinely cared for. She checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed and gave great recommendations. Kaia really made the whole dining experience memorable.
I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend asking for Kaia if you get the chance—she’s amazing!

The food was edible. It simply lacked flavor, not exactly tender on the meat side, the fried rice was dry and low on flavor as well, and the sweet carrots were barely sweet and excessively soft almost mushy. ->

My new favorite place! Sushi they have it ! Soba noodles they have that too ! I’m a huge foodie and if you’re in town you have to try this place. Quaint dine in, super clean and friendly family owned place. I go every two weeks, I’m addicted ❤️

The food was out quick and hot. The sushi was very fresh and did not fall apart when picked up. Nothing tasted fishy or slimy. The prices are wonderful especially for a low income family like mine. My mother and I went inside to eat and our waitress was a very lovely young lady who was an amazing server. I will absolutely be coming back and sharing this place with my friends and family members ❤️ could not have asked for a better lunch
