Located inside the Ala Moana mall’s food court. I ordered the original spicy shrimp at Fumi’s and it was legit good. The shrimp were fresh, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The spice level was just right, mildly spicy but packed with flavor. Even though it was a busy night, the wait time was surprisingly short. If you’re looking for top-quality spicy shrimp and bold flavors, Fumi’s is worth the stop.

I’m so glad Fumi’s is back! The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the service was amazing. Well worth the wait and will be a regular lunch for me.
I had the Garlic and Hot and Spicy. I highly recommend both.
The rice was cooked perfectly and the sauce tastes original. It’s rare to have the rice cooked perfectly at a shrimp place on Oahu.

I recently tried Fumi’d Shrimp, and overall it was good. The food itself was tasty and satisfying, though nothing that really stood out as amazing. The staff were okay. There was about a 10-minute wait before being seated, which wasn’t too bad but worth mentioning. All in all, it was a decent experience. Good food, decent service, and a wait that was manageable.

Highly recommend!! Tried the signature lilikoi lemon shrimp and the Szechuan Mala shrimp (asked for half spicy), and the flavors were really well balanced. Lilikoi was a unique taste, and the spicy one was flavorful! Not just one off hot like a lot of spicy dishes can be.
Staff are cheerful and pleasant, storefront screams clean, so that’s always reassuring. Ohhh and the RICE is amazing too, must be the zoriushi! I know that’s a weird thing to be excited about in addition to the shrimp but if you eat a lot of rice like Hawaii folk do, iykyk!

You guys gotta try this place!! Good Kahuku shrimp!! Flavor is awesome and taste is great. Ordered the butter and garlic shrimp and the orange shrimp….both are yummy. Wish they gave a little more in quantity but no waiting in line, but had to wait lil bit to receive the food. If you guys love shrimp, then this is the place to eat at. Come check em out!!

We’ve been hearing about Fumi’s from Amanda & Felix Eats on YouTube. We knew the original location in North Shore is closed and we were happy that we got to try it here. Very delicious. Ordered the garlic butter and the lilikoi lemon.

Located in the makai food court on ground level of Ala Moana mall, Fumi’s replaced the former Sing Ma Tei (which was devastating to find out.) so I really hope this place would be amazing.
I’d say it’s quite decent for garlic shrimp, but I still prefer other places a bit more. It might be a personal taste. I think the shrimp could be a bit more crunchy and the garlic sauce could have more minced garlic for some texture. It was decent but I wouldn’t say amazing. The rice was also mushy. I mean that’s also a big part of the dish. If the rice failed, the whole dish suffered.
I still have yet to find something amazing from this food court honestly that I wanna go there just for that…

Just tried Fumi’s and both food and service were top notch! Shrimp was super flavorful, and garlic sauce was on point! Awesome to have authentic garlic shrimp in Waikiki to save a trip to the north shore. Service was very friendly and food came out quickly. Will definitely be back!

Located in the busy Ala Moana mall food court, this was not the Fumis I remember from the north shore. Having just returned from trying shrimp at Big Wave, I can honestly say that these shrimp weren’t as good. One of mine still wasn’t properly deveined and the original recipe was somewhat flavourless. The portion of pineapple was almost insulting. Maybe they will improve with time. Price for what I ordered (in the photo) was about 23 USD after tax and tip.
