Fries were good, but all of our Fish had a fishy taste…. that lingered after the meal.

I stopped in for some fried shrimp. I was baited by the menu description, “Jumbo Shrimp”. Then I saw the fish and shrimp combo, and that looked good, too. So I asked are the shrimp served with the combo, the same as the jumbo shrimp. The hostess said yes, so I ordered it. $30 wasted! Small, over cooked Shrimp, greasy fries, fish was okay but very thin, so it was like eating a soggy chip.

Unironically some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had, and good value! We got a family meal and there was plenty there for two, probably even for two and a kid.
The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the chicken was the same, both well seasoned. The fries were pretty good, the popcorn shrimp was great, and I honestly thought the hush puppies were some of the best I’ve had in a long time.
I didn’t expect it, but this legitimately was a great restaurant by its own merits.

Tried their clam chowder and fries. Loved it. Calm chowder was much better than the one I had at Bowdin cafe in fisherman’s warf, SF. Will definitely go again.
