Ordering two eggs—over easy, scrambled, sunny side up, whatever—and a side of bacon, hash browns, and a slice or two of buttered toast shouldn’t be complicated. These crack-of-dawn staples should, however, be well made. Opened in 1947, with our all-business Formica countertops, chrome stools, and a one-page double-sided menu, we’re known as the city’s undeniable master of this classic American breakfast plate.

Old-school lunch counter serving American comfort food, including milkshakes & breakfast.

Established in 1947, this beautiful gem in downtown Portland is a full counter dining experience. It moved to it’s current location in 1960, but still maintains that 1940s feel. Breakfast and lunch are served, complete with bottomless cups of joe. This is a locals favorite. The food is tasty, customer service and atmosphere is amazing. So, if you want a taste of old school with good people, food and atmosphere, stop in, grab a stool and enjoy! Bon Appe’tit!

Truly a quintessential 1940s all counter service diner. I wasn’t sure if I should give it five stars or four stars but the 4.5 rating seems correct. Very clean and friendly place with competent everything and fairly low prices. You can get out of here for under $20 with a main, a side order, a drink, and tip. Safe place to get eggs, bacon, hash browns, french fries, boring old school sandwiches, huevos rancheros, and omelettes. Don’t expect to be whisked back to a bygone era where everything was better. But I enjoyed it! (If you are a bit more of a hipster foodie looking for peak yumminess, Good music, and maybe a cocktail then go to Stepping Stone Cafe).

Fun little breakfast spot near our hotel in the Pearl District. Everyone sits at a long diner bar with a view of the open kitchen. It was a wet & drizzly late morning when we decided to grab a bite for brunch. I ordered the Georgia Deluxe which was delicious and oozing with cheese. My partner ordered the corned beef hash. Both dishes hit the spot. The service was attentive. We felt like we were eating at a friend’s home kitchen.

I haven’t finished my breakfast, but this is one of the most delicious things I’ve tasted in Portland.

I had a Montecristo sandwich and it was scrumptious. Very well balance between savory and sweet.

Staff was welcoming and friendly, the atmosphere is very polite and doesn’t feel cramped even when full.

Didn’t have coffee but, for what I heard and saw, it was good.

We got at 10 and two seats were available for us. People who came later waited like 5/10/15 minutes to get in but it’s worth the time.

Definitely a must to visit and I’d suggest to come early to have a very good bite!

Google Maps describes this place as an “old-school lunch counter,” and I really can’t think of any better way to put it. They have two or three counters to sit at, and you’re shoulder-to-shoulder with others enjoying their meals at this little diner. If that’s not your thing, you might still consider coming in just for the amazing food at an old-school price, because I have yet to find another place that you can get breakfast for two for less than $20 and leave feeling full.

I ordered the southwest omelette plate with hash browns while my mom ordered the egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich which was less than $10. Both plates came out looking full with plenty of eggs and protein to get us ready for our hike later that day. The servers were super nice and attentive, and you really cannot beat the vibe of the place. I’ve never seen anything like it and you can tell that there’s history in the place. I highly recommend stopping by and checking out what they have to offer, with my only regret being that I didn’t get a chance to try their pancakes.

This place is an experience not to be missed! The food was so good, I had the breakfast special, one pancake, 2 bacons and 1 egg. The perfect amount of food. I was in Portland for a couple of days and ate at Fullers both days. The server was so much fun! Joking with the customers, she asked what our plans were and gave us some great recommendations of things to see and do. After we left the first day we knew we would be back the next morning cuz Amy was so fun and we wanted to thank her for the recommendations. The whole place feels like friends just having a lunch break. I will definitely come back next time in Portland, and tell my friends about Fullers

We were in the area of the Powell city of books when we were looking for a quick bite to eat for lunch.
We ordered the fishwich, reuben and potsto deluxe. The portions were very generous, and the food quality was great, especially considering the price.
Service was attentive for the most part but the food was a little slow to come out

The food was pretty good, and the service attitude was excellent. It’s a very cozy and warm place. The only downside might be that the seating is a bit cramped, but everything else was perfect.

As a longtime Portland resident, this was my first visit to Fuller’s, and I loved it. Classic old-school diner feel with incredibly welcoming staff—they made me feel like a regular right away.

The food is exactly what you want from a diner, but the bacon biscuits and gravy were next level. I’d never had a bacon-based gravy before and now I’m wondering why more places don’t do this. Endless coffee was a big plus.

Prices feel like what you’d expect to pay years ago, which is refreshing for the Pearl. Great location near Powell’s, music at the perfect volume, and genuinely friendly staff. I can easily see myself becoming a regular.

Thank you Amy!!

Amazingly cute little coffee shop in Portland at 9th and Davis. Sweet waitress, great food and just a fun place for breakfast.

My partner and I stopped in early one Saturday, I ordered the Buttermilk Pancakes with butter and maple syrup. The pancakes are fluffy and the perfect size for breakfast.

My partner ordered the Georgie’s potatoes without the egg. Hash brown potatoes with onions, spinach, mushrooms, green chilies and tomatoes with toast. He loved the dish.

Overall, great food, great service, low prices.
