Rustic-chic American tavern in a lofty space offering wood-fired pizza, craft beer & sports on TV.

The food was good, especially the French onion soup. The pizza was not bad. I would’ve given it a 3 1/2 stars instead of four, but there isn’t such an option for food.
Service was adequate and the atmosphere was nothing to write home about.

Solid spot. Visiting from Detroit for work. Taylor was a great server! Very friendly and easy going. Had the skirt steak fajitas. Meat was cut with the grain which made it a little harder to bite, but they made it right on the bill and let the chef know. You have got to try to Blueberry vanilla sour, it was fantastic and a good buzz! Also, the bourbon banana pudding was fire! The right amount of salt with sweet! I’d come back

The food, service, and staff were all outstanding. I tried the West Coast Burger and it was packed with incredible flavor, truly one of the best I have had. The onion rings were just as impressive and perfectly cooked. An all around great experience.

We went Sunday, October 12… weather was perfect and we sat outside (heater did feel nice too). Started out as a 5… great vibe, tasty apps, and the Old Fashioned was perfect. We ordered our mains and it took a bit longer to arrive, and so did our server though. We ate, food was good. We finished eating and our server asked if we wanted dessert, so we ordered a banana pudding to go. That took 25 minutes to arrive… which, fine… the kitchen was busy (but still took longer than it should have). However… it was the very last thing of the evening that took this 4.5 to a 2 and that was this… our server walked up to our table, with the Toast handheld in her hand and simply said… your total is $172 and then just stood there. We didn’t actually receive a copy of the bill and it was probably one of the more weird food service moments I’ve experienced. She just stood there waiting for us to pay, which we paid in cash. Had she just dropped off the bill and we paid accordingly, this would have likely been a 4-star review. But with that last interaction, I have to question why she’d even do something like that. Anyway… that was our experience.

Fullers is a classic and they never disappoint! Went for a casual dinner and left full and happy. Started off with the cauliflower appetizer, and it was delicious. We got salads as the main course which were very fresh. Tried the animal fries but wasn’t the biggest fan of them. Getting seated was quick, it took a bit to get our main course and check, but otherwise great!

Way better than their other restaurant in Downers, Pierce Tavern. Better vibe, better service and better food. The buffalo chicken sandwich is one of the best around. Blackened chicken is very good as well. Great bourbon selection.

Fuller House Bar in Hinsdale is an absolute gem! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond—Mallory, Anahi, and Ryleigh are true rockstars! Whether I had a question, needed a killer food recommendation, or was looking for the best patio seating, they were on it with enthusiasm and professionalism.
The food was fire—crispy cheese curds, flavorful sliders, cauliflower bites, buffalo bites, and those loaded animal-style fries were unforgettable. The vibe on the patio was perfect for a summer night, with great music, great service, and even better company.
This place is in a prime location in downtown Hinsdale, and I can already tell it’s going to be one of my regular hot spots. The menu has something for everyone (highly recommend checking out their dessert cocktails and seasonal pies too). Bonus: the ambiance is cozy but elevated, perfect for everything from a casual hangout to date night.
See you at Fuller House—Hinsdale’s best kept secret that won’t stay secret for long!

Had an opportunity to visit Hinsdale, which I have been told is similar to Lake Forest but far from The Lake. Living in NS for decades, I see how there is a comparison, especially in their downtown area. Its the center of this priveleged community.
From internet searches & reviews, this place peaked my interest. For a Wednesday night, it was packed, especially the bar area, so I was kind of excited for this food.
The service was slow, nearly waited 10 minutes just to get a menu and another 10 to get water. Understaffed?? Perhaps, but not an excuse.
Ordered the west coast double cheeseburger (not quite a smashburger as explained to me) and had the animal sauce on the side (it just a version of thousand island aioli). The burger was good but not exceptional.
Had the fries with truffle parm, but the earthy truffle notes was nowhere to be found. And the truffle aioli wasnt much truffle either. Kind of disappointed when I have had some amazing truffle fries and exceptional burgers. Nonetheless, not a total loss, it was still very good as a double cheeseburger with fries.

We have never had a bad meal. Artichoke dip appetizer was very tasty. Burgers are always good, we have tried several over different trips. My bro was with us and he mentioned, several times, how much he liked his burger. I had the steak sandwich which I would recommend, great mix of flavors. They have a delicious drink menu as well. I would highly recommend you try them, you will not be disappointed.
