The Full Throttle Distillery was really a great experience. The building itself is very nice, and there is a large area for waiting up front to be seated. The food was excellent. I had the smoked turkey club and it was fantastic. The menu for kids was perfect and had all the staples. The largest complaint that I have is regarding the seating time. When we arrived, we were the only group waiting and the tables were at maybe 25% of capacity. However, we still ended up standing around for 30+ minutes waiting for someone to even walk up and talk to us or welcome us into the restaurant. There was no one at the check in desk, so we just stood there looking to try and get a waiter/waitress to come check us in. This would easily be a 5 star review if it were not for that poor initial experience. Maybe next time will be better!

We ate breakfast here this morning (Saturday after Christmas). Another breakfast restaurant across town was on an hour and forty-minute wait, but we got right in here. (I think people don’t know that they do breakfast, yet.)

The atmosphere was great, but the music was a touch loud – people were struggling to have conversations. I think they figured this out by the time we left because by then the volume had been turned down to nice-background-music level.

We waited probably 15 minutes for waters. From being set to getting food was nearly an hour (party of six). It was a little long, but from what I hear everyone is still understaffed, so I’m okay with a little wait.

Someone ordered coffee and had to immediately send it back because it came out cold. My bacon was cold. The waffles were not warm. There were no sugar (and alternatives) packets at the table and there was no ketchup. (I would have asked the server, but he probably had a bunch of tables, because we didn’t see him much. He was kind, and did a good job; I just don’t think he had the opportunity to be present because he was so busy.) The over-medium eggs were great. The biscuits and gravy were good. The star of the show was the hashbrown casserole! Wow, 10 out of 10!

Was the experience great? No. Was it good? Probably not. Will I come back? Sure! As a local hospitality consultant, I root for local businesses’ success. If I can be a help to you, please reach out and I’ll help you put some policies and procedures in place to leave everyone with a 5 star experience.

**Update** My wife and I went back for lunch. The experience was good. The food was good. The other thing I need to note is that there are some other things about this place that are especially fun for visitors. For instance, they have free moonshine tasting. This is great to get a group of friends together and hang out at the sampling bar. They choose employees that love interacting with guests, so you’ll have a good time. They have a great merchandise section so you can take home some moonshine or a branded t-shirt for your favorite motorcycle-loving family member or friend. I say give it a try, and tell me what you think.

We absolutely loved out lunch experience here. We ordered the brisket sandwiches and hash brown casserole. The food was generous portions and unbelievably tender and juicy. I also had the BFF Cosmo made with white cranberry and it was the best one I have ever had. After eating we explored their huge gift shop where you can buy flavored whiskey, clothing and souvenirs. Highly recommend!!!

Great experience, best Ruben I’ve ever had. The sauerkraut was even delicious. They have several different moonshine tasters and a nice variety of whiskey and mixers to try. Their espresso liquor was great too. The kids menu has great choices too. Soft drinks come in a mason jar and alcohol in standard glasses. Great place for families and the wait is worth it. They ran out of corn bread before we got here. We will definitely be back.

I walked in to order one meal for carry out. It wasn’t particularly busy and the gal said it might be 20…. Or 30 minutes. I even tipped her up front for carryout orders because that’s what I do. As it passed the 30 minute mark, the 40 minute mark .. I thought hey it’s gotten a little busy and I don’t want to be that customer who feels like they have to act angry all the time
Anyways at the hour and ten minute mark I figured the order never went in so I nicely walked up and said hey it’s been about an hour, I’m assuming the order didn’t get in, that’s ok just go ahead and cancel it. I got an oops, oh it’s right here. I said yikes how long has it been sitting there? She’s like yeah, kinda long, I’m sorry. Then hands me the bag. Needless to say it’s a sandwich in toast that has tomato so besides being cold the bread is soggy from the tomato so it’s a throw away for me. I’m disappointed there wasn’t any effort to even offer to remake it or anything. I stayed calm the whole time but it seems being a Karen is likely what would get rewarded. The food might be good, I don’t know. Hard to judge when it’s been sitting out for forty minutes. The girl was a young hostess, maybe newer, maybe needs training. That being said if you do eat here and it seems like something is slow I recommend getting super pissed off and asking for a manager or something. Being a nice customer got me a bag of trash.

Edit: decided to post my pic of the soggy mayo and water soaked bread on my BLT. That and googles ai favors reviews that post photos. Yes fries are room temperature and also gross at this point. Gosh this was so disappointing how little that girl cared.

Edit 2: looking at other recent low reviews it seems I am not the only one finding the customer service is very poor. There appears to be a track record of this and they are not doing a great job training it. If you are staying at the convention center just walk a little further there are plenty of other great places.

Arrived a little before 10, 2 days after christmas. Ordered our drinks, appetizer, and 3 meals. Our appetizer was the fried burnt end rangoons, they were served by a different server than ours and they were sold outside and filling inside. Still tasted decent tho im sure they would have been better served hot. In my opinion the 5 if them werent worth $15. Shortly after were out of drinks and waiting. Server brought our meals the kids didnt say it was anything spectacular but no complaints. Our meal tho, was the 3 meat platter. The server forgot our French fries. Those finally came out, cold. Our fried okra, over cooked loaded with grease and again cold. Let’s get to the meats… we paid an extra $3.50 on top of the $26 for burnt ends. Most of the burnt ends, (over half) were nothing but fat, no meat. Again, cold and nothing spectacular. The chicken, cold. The brisket, also cold and a lot of fat. Paid $100 for 2 sandwiches, an appetizer, 4 drinks, and a 3 meat platter. Definitely had cheaper and way better bbq and service. I know being from the heart of bbq (kc area) sets high hopes but yes, even in branson ive had way better, less expensive bnq with far better service. We wont be back.

Awesome and an atmosphere unique to Branson. Nashvillesque. Looking forward to the live music coming in Spring.
Josh was an excellent and knowledgeable server as was Luke our hospitality host as I’ll call it who walked us through their elaborate spirits menu. Go say high! On-site barista with bakery items, amazing bar fit for a castle, and inviting staff with quality BBQ and more.

#1 Marla & Amanda rule! Best service ever. Felt like a regular on my 1st visit. Now the food… Fantastic! The wings could be the best I’ve had. Get the wings and the rangoons. Oh and this one my second visit in 24 hours. My wife and I had a blast! Definitely as EJ to sing you something if you get him as a server. He wasn’t our server but we enjoyed the vocals. Thank you everyone. I left my keys at the bar and Marla hunted us down. Thank God!

I loved the atmosphere in this place. It was a complete vibe as soon as we walked in the door. From the aesthetics, music and merchandise to the food, carefully crafted cocktails, and best of all, the service!

Our server, Curry, was top notch and seemed to be right in his element all night and never missed a beat. He kept friendly banter and maintained complete attention to every one of his guests, even getting strangers laughing with each other from table to table without being too intrusive.

Curry went above and beyond to make our visit fun, comfortable and entertaining, but let’s not forget about the hostess we had! I believe her name was Solieh. She had an upbeat, infectious personality as well and greeted us with a smile immediately as we walked in the door.

Overall, I had a great experience, and this is a place I will stop at again and most definitely recommend to friends and family traveling near the area.

Here is a formal, polished rewrite without using any dashes:

Our experience was pleasant overall, though the wait time was considerably long at approximately forty five minutes. We chose to wait, and fortunately we were able to sit at the bar in the meantime. However, by the time our drinks were served, our table became available, which was slightly frustrating given that several tables appeared to be open.

Once seated, the meal itself was excellent. Each item was prepared to order with clear attention to quality. The fried pickles were also enjoyable and complemented the meal well. Despite the initial inconvenience, the food was a highlight of the visit.
