LISTEN!!!!! I LIVE AT THE BEACH!!! And this was the freshest seafood ive had all summer. On top of that, I am the snobbiest, highest standard resteraunt goer in the world. I walked in here irritated because I was about to spend more more money at another worthless resteraunt. Man, 12 Chesapeake oysters, bacon wrapped scallops with a mango salsa, 12 steamed shrimp for little man and a DELICIOUS salmon plate for the lady. Which I SWORE was going to be dried out and flavorless and I couldn’t have been more wrong. It was pricey and WE GOT WHAT WE PAID FOR. Ashley, you rock. Aaron, thanks for the barbershop talk while you shucked me off. We will be back!!

Decided to randomly stop in because I love oysters. I was not disappointed at all when I received my plate of fried oysters. Some of the biggest I’ve been served in a long time and the price was a steal! The wait staff was friendly and made sure to make sure we were never without. I’m coming back

This is so worth the drive! It’s one of the bigger locations and the food is spot on! I asked them to steam oysters a bit more and they were super friendly about it. We were served by 3 different staff members and all of them were so nice. The food, 10 stars.

My family and I love coming to Full moon oyster bar. So I dropped in for a bite to eat with my Dad. We always have a big bill and leave a 20% tip for our service. My dad’s rice was uncooked or overcooked. He said he thought the hard bits were bone from the steak. So I tell the woman aka Stacy who is actually the manager. She says under her breath would you like some more and walks off. She never came back. Our server Aaron came to us and offers dessert or a discount. We were too full for dessert so he comes back to us and says she as in (Stacy) took 25% off. This is so unacceptable. Her inability to do her job and be a manager is laughable. Also her inability to satisfy loyal customers when they receive food that is uncooked is unproffessional. I have never been to a resturant that treats their guest like this. I won’t be coming back or saying anything good about this establishment to anyone. The five dollars she took off our bill did not make up for the horrible experience.
Also the first time we ate here the food was amazing. Every visit after got worse and worse. Basically the food SUCKS! Please don’t waste your money for this kind of seafood that stinks.

We tried the shrimp and crab legs. One of the kids tried the kids salmon (it was a bit mature for our 5yr old ). The dinners come with potatoes and coleslaw. Everything is delicious and very cool to have this establishment right here in Asheboro.

This is a newer restaurant in the city, and overall it was a good experience. The wait was about 45min but they will text when your table is ready, so explore downtown.
They offer a free starter of potatoes and coleslaw. The potatoes were good. We shared 2 appetizers, charbroiled oysters and crab stuffed mushrooms. Both had exceptional flavor; however, the mushrooms lacked the crab stuffing.
Entrees: ribeye $28, shrimp & grits $23 and grouper and grits $41. While all 3 dishes were absolutely delicious, I was shocked to see the grouper was nearly 2x the price of the shrimp. To swap out a piece of fish for the same base and charge an $18 difference is steep. I would have expected $8-10 upcharge. Despite this, the experience was good but that left me disappointed. It will be a while before I go again.

I got the Tuna Poke, and for the price, I don’t expect any sinew in the meat. Overall the dish was senseless, each item tasty in its own way, but didn’t seem connected to the others.
My wife got the shrimp and grits, I tasted the grits, which were amazing!
The potato bowl they serve (with every meal, I presume) was wonderful, but the coleslaw needed more flavor, perhaps acv and a bit of sugar.

Very clean, interestingly decorated place. Food was pretty good. We went for our anniversary not realizing that the seating options were high stools!!! We both have back issues, so we should’ve asked if there was another option but we didn’t. The Jamaican me crazy was tasty but not as spicy as I expected it to be. My husband got the Mooners fry basket and it was huge! Potatoes and Cole slaw come with every meal. The potatoes were good the Cole slaw was a little bland. Waitresses we’re very attentive and sweet!
