Loved this place! We were looking for somewhere to eat dinner pretty close to Michigan Adventure, and this one had great pricing. Right down the road from the park, nice clean building, fantastic atmosphere and a crowd that had us smiling. Wait staff is spectacular, even while busy. Sure, my soup was forgotten, but I still got it in a to-go box with an apology. On the note of food, either I was incredibly hungry or that chef has magic powers. Best freaking food I’ve had in a long time. Cooked perfectly, with plenty of flavor. Even the wings, which I always soak in ranch, didn’t need any sauce. Perfection.

If we ever go back to MA, we’ll be sure to stop by here for food again.

2/3/26 My dad and I went back to Full Moon Diner & Saloon. I have to say that we left feeling a bit uncertain if we will return. Our waitress was not very welcoming. It almost seemed as if we were bothering her being there. I ordered the omelet and also added on a blueberry pancakes. After we ate and received our bill, I noticed the bill did not have the pancake on it, however, there was a kids meal added on at $7.50. I called over the waitress to bring it up to her. She seemed very inconvenienced even though we were the only ones in her section. She explained she put on the $7.50 kids meal because the extra pancake (1) is $11, and she was trying to make it cheaper for us. What? $11 to add on (1) blueberry pancakes to an omelet; and, also not even explaining it to us? I said that the bill still didn’t add up right. Then with an attitude, she said, “Oh I guess I owe you $10 and some change. She then took the $10 bill from under her ordering pad and flopped it down and then walked off. The way she just pulled it out was like she just had it there for if I noticed she short changed me. And, not to sound greedy, but where was the rest of the change? I’m pointing this out to just be aware of your bill and money (change) especially if you are sitting in the bar or near it. Also, double check on the cost of an add-on blueberry pancake to your omelet before ordering.

I visited the Full Moon Diner & Saloon yesterday with 2 other family members. It was the first time there for all of us. Each one of us was very pleased with our meal. I ordered the shrimp dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy and a side salad. It was very tasty and filling. The other 2 family members ordered breakfast meals. I have to say that I tasted the blueberry pancakes and they were so flavorful! We had a personable waitress who was knowledgeable about the menu and very efficient.
The prices were reasonable. There are sections in the restaurant to eat in the bar or outside of the bar at booths or tables/chairs. We are already talking about going back!

Update: interior renovation is nice. food is still very good. Unfortunately, mostly due to things out of their control, prices have greatly increased. Inflation and supply issues, mismanaged and exasperated by politicians, have put stress on small businesses to stay open. I still recommend but it is nowhere near the great deal it was 3 short years ago!

We recently moved to the area and have been here 4 times now. Every time the older bartender lady just will Not wait on us! She sees us, we make eye contact, she’s not too busy and just will not acknowledge us. We end up having to go get her asking if we can place orders. We love the pizza but this last time again we sat and sat and she looks at us but nothing!! So sadly we will not be going back.

We come to the Full moon whenever we are in town because of the taco pizza! It’s our daughter’s favorite. It’s definitely not your traditional pizza but it is delicious. They bake ground beef and cheese onto a thin crispy crust and top it with the taco fixings like lettuce tomato olives and bring a side of sour cream and salsa. It’s like eating a larger open face taco. Add it to your try list next time you’re at the Full moon saloon!
