Clearly we patronized the inferior Full Moon location. The staff was very ornery when we got there at 7:30PM. They had taken all of the BBQ sauce bottles up and hidden them. They had to make us little containers.
But adding insult to injury of the fact they charged my husband for two sandwiches when we had a buy one get one free coupon was that they were completely OUT OF FRENCH FRIES and the manager lady with the lip piercing was so rude. She gaslit me when we asked for a refund to pay us back for the coupon amount. She acted like everything was our faults.
They were so rude and the cashier dude poured me a beer with a lot of foam. I asked for him to top it off once the foam settled. He took my beer and gave me a new one. Said if I wanted my original back that I would have to pay for it. They poured it down the drain.
I don’t know what problem these early twenty somethings have but they are so rude. The manager chick with the hardware in her face could have given us a free cookie for our trouble. Rude
Won’t be going back to this location. No smiles or anything. Plus the people after us got their food twenty minutes before we did. AND the cook told us, “We are about to close. You can take this BBQ sauce I made you bc we are cleaning up to shut down.” They clearly wanted us to leave but they don’t even close til 8:30!
The cashier guy asked if I wanted to buy a water cup to go with my beer. Um, no! I brought my stainless steel bottle in.

Food was DELICIOUS. The potato was HUGE. Two people could easily share it. The young guy working the front had the absolute best customer service. After a wrestling tournament, the salad was also HUGE and delicious for our son who had to choose a healthier supper.

This restaurant was amazing 10/10. This service was very wonderful it was very clean and comfortable. The food was amazing and there was no long wait time at all just perfect. It also was very family friendly I will for sure highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in town. O yea and by the way here is a picture of what I ordered.

Today is Thursday, December 18th 2025, 12:00 noon. My friend and I met at full moon located in Pelham for lunch. I ordered a regular cheeseburger well done and requested that it be well done. In the female manager told me that they hamburgers, well done and that it would take 12 minutes. By the time I wash my hands and took a seat my plate was on the table and I said that was fast, but when I took a bite of my sandwich my burger was not done I stated that to the female manager. And she did nothing about it but said it looked down to her. I’m not trying to criticize full moon but I will like to suggest that if your work is going to be taking orders they should know the proper way of cooking a burger. I took a picture of my burger to verify that it wasn’t done but I can’t post it to verify it but believe me it wasn’t done.

We ate here last night for the first time. The loaded baker, potato salad, grilled cheese sandwich and black eyed peas were all very good. The cookies were also good. The staff was very friendly and they interacted with my 4 year old daughter. My daughter likes them. The layout and decor is typical for this chain. It is close to the Oak Mountain Amphitheatre.

I visited again and enjoyed our family meal. The chicken was moist and tasty.
I waited on the speaker patiently for a good few minutes. As I was about to drive to the window (thinking that the speaker was broken), a lady finally answered. I drove around and she took my payment. She went to process my card and I was wondering what was taking so long. I began observing her while she began removing several tickets from an area while my food sat just waiting on her. Upon her return, she handed me my card. I was prepared to still tip but she handed me my bags and I was on my way.
I began smelling something and realized that the juice from the collard greens was waisting out. I stopped and realized how a small bag was crammed with greens, Mac n Cheese, and our cookies. Our cookies were getting soaked. The juice was all on my feet rest. It was a mess!
We enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, I won’t use the drive thru service for quite a while.

My first time dining at Full Moon BBQ in Hoover, and I was pleasantly surprised at the level of service but also the food was fantastic! Much better than what I expected. Great sports themed atmosphere. Staff was very friendly. The baked potato is HUGE.
