I love this location! It’s comfortable and feels private, even with so many tables around. It scores all the bonus points for order at the counter, sports on TV, and self-serve fountain Coke (with chewable ice). They also regularly host high school teams who provide table service as a fundraiser. The baked beans are bold and the fried green tomatoes were perfectly done. We went on a friend’s recommendation of the smoked turkey. Covered in sauce and with chow chow, I enjoyed every bite.

Atmosphere is fine and the service was good. The workers are friendly. We have stopped here many times throughout the years and unfortunately this place has gone down hill. The Mac n cheese was disappointing, lacking in flavor and consistency. The turkey was fair, but nothing to write home about. The toasted bun was horrible— not sure if the butter was weird or what. The fried okra was alright. Overall, it was not good.

I ordered the beef angus beef brisket salad, but don’t rely on the photo I took because I mixed up my salad before I took the photo. I also added the salad dressing on top, but the two they gave wasn’t enough so I asked for one more and he gave it to me no extra charge. I also ordered some fried green tomatoes.My daughter ordered the chicken fingers with mac and cheese but she only ate her mac and cheese and some of my brisket and her Dad’s ribs. I don’t know how the chicken fingers tasted because we didn’t eat them. Overall, yummy food and I love the atmosphere and booth seating.

We bought. Turkey Feast with slaw and fries. The turkey wasn’t any better than lunch meat and the slaw was so “pickled” it was hard to eat. The fries had no taste and were solid white – no fried texture. We wasted $45. We are so disappointed-they used to serve delicious barbecue.

John, Payton and Arthur (probably misspelled names) where very informative with the menu and making suggestions on food! Cool laid back guys added to an overall great experience, with stellar food! Would absolutely recommend, even had SEC football on every TV! The support for local Sports and High School teams was an even nicer touch! Will be back as much as possible!

BUGS HERE! INFESTATION HERE. I usually come here and the food is good for the most part but TONIGHT the ribs are pink inside, THERE IS A BUG IN MY POTATO SALAD, and just take a look at the kids’ chicken sandwich. This is a DISGRACE tonight. I am so disappointed. I have sent many people to this location and tonight was just a disappointment. I just took the bun off and did not touch anything else on this pitiful little sandwich for a child. Y’all should be ASHAMED. A BUG!!!!!!!!!! I want a REFUND ASAP.

I love Full Moon BBQ !!!! Their BBQ meats are some of the best hands down. Every time I’m in Birmingham I have to stop by and get their huge Stuffed pulled pork potatoes. Yum !!!! Biggest potatoes that I have ever seen and stuffed to the max. If you’re ever near the Birmingham area it is definitely worth your stop. They never disappoint ! ❤️.

Food was absolutely mediocre. The catfish felt like it was in a shell instead of being battered. I felt like I needed some nutcrackers to get into it. And then the catfish was just kind of inside this hollow shell that was obviously overcooked. The mac & cheese was mediocre. Everything was mediocre- And to top it off where my mother mentioned in a line that food was getting expensive the cashier decided that it was an invitation for him to explain how the tariffs that Trump has set up in this nation are causing the food to increase in price and it’s his fault. Well, this Guy will not be back in that restaurant To listen to cashiers, they think they know politics and waste my money on mediocre food.
