Fulin’s Asian Cuisine

  4.3 – 517 reviews   • Asian restaurant

In 2004, David Lin and his partners took a bold, exciting risk to venture outside the concept of a typical Chinese buffet and carryout restaurant. Instead, they knew that the exotic flavors and exquisite meal presentations of traditional Asian cuisine were more suitable for fine dining. So, when they opened their first Fulin’s Asian Cuisine in Brentwood, they first invested in the restaurant’s appearance, to create an ambiance of elegance and gracious hospitality. They then committed to preparing all meals with superior ingredients, to please the palates of the most discriminating diner. This combination of ambiance and fabulous meals became an immediate formula for success.

Sushi, sashimi & specialty rolls round out a menu of familiar Chinese & Japanese dishes.

We ordered take out and got general Taos and orange chicken… YOU GUYS please tell me why the chicken tasted old and was so dry it was concerning. Taste of the sauce was good but that’s about it. Disappointing and won’t be ordering again

It was awesome. Nice large portions at a decent price. The sushi is topnotch and the food was to match. Staff was friendly and attentive. Overall 5/5.

We had high hopes for Fulin’s. I’d heard a lot of really good things about their food. However, we were less than impressed. The steak on the steak teriyaki didn’t have much flavor. The General Tso’s wasn’t what I was hoping for. The rice and noodles were just okay.

The place appears very nice and comfortable but the food ,sweet and sour pork and the sesame chicken were terrible. Not freshly prepared. Old and dried out. We were offered a take out box because we couldn’t eat it but we said no. We would not eat it at home either. It was our first time there and I doubt that we will ever go back. Panda Express has far superior food for less money. I would not recommend you go to Fulin’s to eat…….

We went for dinner on a Friday night and got right in. It took a moment to get our orders in but once we did our food came out quickly.
We cream cheese crab rangoon, spring rolls, orange chicken and general tso chicken with noodles and fried rice.
The rangoons and sweet and sour were good and had good flavor. The spring rolls felt like they were majority of cabbage.
The orange chicken and general tso chicken dishes were both very good tasting. The general tso chicken was slightly over cooked and a little tough. The orange chicken had good flavor. It also seemed slightly over cooked but did not have any hard pieces. We will go back again based on the flavor.
The service was good and our waitress kept checking on us frequently and kept drinks filled.

It’s okay for what it is. The food is mega expensive and you get pretty small portions for an Asian place. The eggroll was delicious but all the food honestly tasted like you’ve had it before and probably for a better price.

Toddler had to sit in our booth due to the high chairs absolutely nasty, and wobbly as can be. 3 different chairs brought out had stability issues. Dirty sticky tables too. Something tells me this place will close soon since it sees no money in properly maintaining it.

Food isn’t terrible, but not exactly good either. What can you really expect with an ‘Asian’ cuisine menu from various different cuisines on the menu. As if Chinese and Japanese are the same thing. Mediocre.

Server was sweet though.
