Just opened and was excited to try it but unfortunately the food isn’t ready yet. Service was great and all but one of the staff were very kind. Got the Tonkotsu Salt ramen and the Tori Salt Ramen and both broths had almost no flavor at all. The Tori Salt had an extremely light chicken broth accent, and the Tonkotsu Salt had a lot of ginger put into it so it tasted of essentially warm ginger water. Both ramens had no “fatty oils” floating on top either, which if you have ever had Tonkotsu Ramen, you’d know how essential it is. Unfortunately, the broth was not the only terrible thing, the noodles themselves were supposed to be “thin noodles”, but were as thick as normal packaged top ramen noodles and were overcooked. We did notice that other ramens had egg noodles though and asked for a side of egg noodles instead, which were much better. The egg was about average, definitely not great, but I wouldn’t say terrible. I make much better ones at home. The highlight was the Chashu though, which is probably my favorite chashu I’ve had in Sacramento. It had a BBQ sort of flavor to it which isn’t quite traditional, but it was still good. Portion size was also large due to the “free extra noodles”. Altogether, the chashu and egg can’t fix a flavorless broth with overcooked noodles. We both ate only about half or so. I’m hoping its just that the staff aren’t used to cooking and it will be better in the future. We will try again in a few months.

I am so happy that they opened a new ramen spot in Natomas. I usually go to midtown spots, and I’m glad that I don’t have to anymore! I’m a big fan of chicken-broth ramen, and I instantly fell in love with their Tori-Paitan Miso Ramen. I added extra black garlic oil and seaweed for that umami goodness! The broth was thick, almost creamy and super flavorful! Hubby ordered Kara-Miso Ramen which was spicy and he loved it. Both bowls came with thick noodles which was deliciously “eggy” and cooked perfectly. Service was friendly and fast. Will definitely come back again!

My husband and I went here back in November. We arrived around 6:00pm, right before dinner rush hour and were seated within 10 minutes. The place is a bit small, but really has a modern aesthetic vibe! My husband got the tonkatsu and I got the tan tan men. The tan tan men was delicious! And if you like your charsu on the thicker side, you’ll love theirs! To top it off, the customer service was wonderful. They checked in periodically to make sure if you needed anything. We will definitely be going back!

Broad selection of ramen (and soupless ramen) as well as appetizers, rice bowls, and drinks, including alcoholic and specialty teas/sodas. Easy to follow menu too.

Kid ramen is half a normal ramen. A few appetizer choicea could also work for a kids meal.

Only one vegetarian full size meal (soupless ramen).

Service was quick and attentive. Immediate seating too. Clean, professional, positive, and helpful with menu insights/choices. Order with server at table. Online available too.

Rewards program too. Don’t forget to sign up!!

I gave 4 stars on food not because of taste or quality (5 stars) but rather the menu may be a little too limited on options if you bring clients or family with limited pallets, allergies, or lifestyle choices, which could limit going to the reataraunt. For example, a few more kid choices, vegetarian, or lower sodium choices would be nice.

We’ve been to a few other Fukumi ramen restaurants and came to the Natomas location on the first day they opened. We got there around 6pm on Monday and waited about 10 minutes for a table. There are 10 tables that fit 4 people each. They have a “recommended” deal for 3 extra pieces of chashu and an extra 2 egg halves that is slight cheaper than ordering the extra toppings separately. At this location they put the extra noodles in the bowl instead of giving a separate bowl.

Last time I went to Fukumi, I ate Fukumi ramen with thin noodles. The noodled were too soft and seemed overcooked. I gave it a try second time but the noodles were the same. Chashu and eggs were good but the broth was a bit too light.
The tan tan ramen I ate here was the worst one I ever had and I couldn’t finish it. It was like peanut sauce and milk mixed.

Went for my quick 30 minute lunch and the staff was very friendly and made sure I got my food quickly. Best customer service I’ve ever experienced. I even have time to sit down and dine in which I usually never get to do. Food was delicious and hot. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice ramen spot!

I was excited to try this place. The environment was nice and quiet, and quick service. Portion size are large which is nice.

The service was not the best I did let the waitress know I’m fully vegan and yes, she was nice to suggestions one dishes on the menu (none of the ramens had miso based broth)
We order edamame appetizers and when I starded to eat it to my surprise it was full of butter, which did mot mention on the menu. When I asked for it to please me swapped to no butter she did not want to do so. I can do order another order and if I wanted a refund I had to do it thru email. You would think knowing my dietary requirements she would of told me it had butter before ordering. They also dont offer condiments if you want a side of chili paste its an extra charge.

The food wasn’t bad, but we wont be coming back again.

This Japanese restaurant in Natomas delivered one of the most comforting dining experiences I’ve had in a while. The miso soup was rich without being heavy, and the sushi tasted incredibly fresh with clean, balanced flavors. The staff were attentive in a subtle, respectful way that made the whole atmosphere calm and welcoming. A place that feels thoughtful in both flavor and service.

The staff there are really nice and polite, but the ramen was not very good. My wife and I ordered the tan tan ramen and couldn’t finish it because the broth tasted bitter and bland. The noodles tasted and looked like top ramen noodles. The choshu (pork) wasn’t bad, but the egg was cold. Even my dad who isn’t a ramen person didn’t like his miso noodles. I don’t think we will be going back here, which is unfortunate because they just opened 4 weeks ago and have really nice staff.
