Great first omakase experience! It’s BYOB so we brought and got served sake. 13 course for 75$ is a great price and you get to taste various flavors. Small and cozy bar, and staff were friendly and attentive.

We tried the casual, 60-min omakase at Fuku Omakase.

It’s a small space and they book 60-min sessions every hour, so when you arrive, you wait in the small space right behind guests sitting and dining at the sushi counter.

The service was great. It’s BYOB, which I’d forgotten, but they had extra sake, which they kindly served us.

There are some seats where the air conditioner blows directly, but we were sitting in the corner and we were ok. With one of the corner seats, because there is distance between the sushi chef and your plate, they put the sushi on another plate for you to take and put on your plate—which felt a bit odd.

The sushi was good. They put on fancy toppings like foie gras and caviar, which I actually would prefer without, and for them to make the overall price lower. I also didn’t love the A5 Wagyu Beef sushi. (and they used the term “cow” on their menu, which was unusual) But the Botan Ebi with Uni was so delicious. And we had a Toro Taku hand roll instead of their usual hand roll, which I also enjoyed.

Overall, we had a good experience. If you’re looking for a quick sushi meal with a variety of flavors, you could give it a try.

This place was AWESOME! Everyone who worked there was so friendly, warm, and knowledgeable about sushi. The environment is very intimate and felt like you were transported to Japan. The food was amazing – fish was so fresh, the combination of flavors was delicious and had a good mix of traditional and experimental pieces. The owner spoke about food so passionately and it was such a joy to see him perform his craft. Pictured are some of the favorite pieces. Every aspect of this meal was absolutely perfect!

I happened to walk past this window and noticed this little restaurant. Since the next seating hadn’t started yet, I was the first one to sit down and got a unique experience. I was able to watch the chef prepare the ingredients from start to finish — you could truly see how fresh everything was.

They were very friendly and even offered me complimentary sake. The food was delicious, and the flavor combinations were perfectly balanced.

Next time, I’m definitely bringing my friends with me.

Throughly enjoyed my time at Fuku Omakase. I had the pleasure of spending my anniversary here and the staff made sure it was a lovely experience. Exceptional and kind hearted service.
This was good quality course, and the pieces given were thought out, intentional and delicious.
The BYOB option is great for having your own drink of choice to go along with the course.
Intimate spot, it gives the essence of a New York home-like experience.

Best omakase I’ve had a a while! Nothing too over the top just really fresh, high quality sushi. Place was small and intimate which added to the experience. Byob is a nice perk as well. Will be coming back!

Loved the omakase experience at Fuku. All of the fish was fresh and the rice flavorful. We enjoyed all of the courses. You can add on more at the end, given there is time. It’s BYOB. Our waitress Amo really made our night. She was so friendly and even let us try some sake. Reservation required. Reasonably priced. Street parking.

We just attended their special Valentine’s Day course. The fish was very fresh, and I really loved the balance of flavors in each pairing. The scallop with lime was my absolute favorite. At the end, we even received a thoughtful gift from them, which was such a nice touch. We will definitely be coming back!
