I’ve loved this place for years, but recently I’ve fallen even MORE in love with this place. We had 2 birthday celebrations recently and on both, they were so sweet and fun! The food is always good, but the vibes were through the roof! They gave us dessert and sang and laughed with us. It was awesome. So give them a try! And don’t be shy!

The protein bar I ate afterward was better than the beef ramen, which tasted like strained noodles with no flavor.

We arrived and were seated quickly in a welcoming atmosphere—but that’s where the good experience ended. We ordered seared gyoza, shrimp tempura, beef ramen, a sushi roll, and a poke bowl. The gyoza was just okay. The tempura was rubbery, heavily over-breaded, and the sauce couldn’t soak in. The plum wine was great.

The ramen came out first and was extremely bland. I mixed it, tried it again, and had my wife and friend taste it—they confirmed it lacked flavor. The poke bowl took another 10 minutes to arrive. I asked to order something else and was told the manager would come out, but instead we waited again.

My wife’s sushi roll was good, but despite asking for extra ginger, none arrived until we flagged down another server after a long wait. When the manager finally showed up, his tone was belittling and rude, which completely ended any desire to continue the meal.

Slow service, poor communication, inconsistent food quality, and an unprofessional management response made this a frustrating experience. Unfortunately, not a place I would return to or recommend.

A Gem in this town, Texas Roll was amazing, Miso soup was so comforting, Gyoza and Crab-stuffed Jalapenos were delicious, cant believe I never came here before, highly recommend. Usually have to drive far for food this good

Okay so the building looks kind of sus from the outside, but once you get in, the staff and the food make you forget that you’re in an old Captain D’s or something. It’s really good food. Get the bento box. And get a little bit of everything. It’s great. Staff is super friendly very attentive. I’m actually surprised that there’s this quality of Japanese food in Gainesville Texas. Highly recommended

Stopped in tonight. Quaint little place with a lot of personality. No wait to get a table all though they were busy. Server immediately came to get our drink order. Menu has so much variety. We are not sushi people but the plates I saw coming out to tables looked great. We both had had hibachi dinners. Miso soup, salad with ginger dressing both excellent. Our meals were plentiful and delicious. Great experience and we will definitely return.

Today was my birthday and everyone was so nice. Went in and immediately greeted and sat. The food was very delicious and even was surprised with a fried ice cream with a candle. It really made my day. It’s the small things in life that make me smile. This was one of those times.

This was our 2nd time coming into Fuku a few weeks ago for spring break with our kids and it was such a fun and amazing experience! Our waitress was so sweet and she helped us with everything we needed! She even refilled our glass without us having to ask. She really went above and beyond! My favorite thing is how fancy and amazing the food is! And the food presentation is spectacular too!

The waitress had our food decorated for us with little flamingos and umbrellas! It was super cute! I thought that was so sweet and thoughtful of her! And it was so fun for the kids and for spring break too! The atmosphere at Fuku it so pretty and fun too! I love taking selfies with my kids at their pink cherry blossom tree!

This place is definitely somewhere you want to come for birthdays and any special events or celebrations! We had a very fun and special time! And of course the food is delicious! My favorite thing on the menu is any and all of their sushi’s! I got a gigantic sushi plate that I will post pictures for you guys to see! You can’t go wrong with any of their sushi’s!

Their boba teas are all super tasty too! I got the Thai boba and it was amazing! Our waitress also brought super cute balloons to the kids as we were leaving! She really made our family dinner a very fun and special experience! ❤️

Wow, it was a susprise find. If you in Gainesville it’s a must stop in. Service was quick and food was hot. My only complaint or suggestion would be they serve the food altogether on the table. But it still gets a five star .

My second time eating at this establishment. After living four years in Okinawa Japan it is very hard not trying to compare the food in the states to Japan. I have had the sushi, chicken tankatsu bento box, teriyaki chicken bento box, takoyaki, spring rolls. All food is absolutely delicious. A must try when In the area.

This place is a solid 1. Poke bowl tasted like a lemon with so so fish and dried out of the can pineapple that didn’t taste like pineapple. Ramen bowl literally had no salt, no egg, no taste. Sushi roll tasted like they took it out of the trash, dressed it up and served it. Waiter was nice and really tried for us. Manager came out and bluntly dismissed our issues with the wait and amount of mistakes. Absolute waste of my money.
