They serve food in to-go containers, which is super convenient, but there’s also both indoor and outdoor seating if you want to dine in. Solid restaurant!
Quick wait time (~10mins) at 7PM on a weekday. All orders are placed to-go but tables are open if you want to eat there.
Food exceeded expectations for the price, tempura veggies especially. Friendly staff. Would visit again!
I highly recommend this place to anyone craving high quality Japanese food. Will definitely be returning to enjoy more of their amazing menu
The seafood salad is one of my favorites. Huuuge thick slices of tuna and salmon tataki’s with a classic wafu dressing. Their unagi don is awesome too and is such a great combo with the seafood salad. The unagi is cooked to perfection and is very fresh and not super boney. Love the fact that you have the options to choose between white and brown rice!
The tatsuta age (fried chicken) was great as well. Nicely seasoned and juicy!
The udon they use is on the thinner side and I abosolutely loooove it. Super yummy. Also, this isn’t pictured but I bought a salmon teriyaki plate to take home and I am obsessed. The salmon was sooo large and thick and the teriyaki sauce was perfect!
It’s takeout/eat in service at the moment and I have no complaints! Order first and then grab a table. Quick and easy.
Definitely recommend!!
My husband took me here cause he used to go frequently when he lived in the area.
It was delicious!!
There is plenty of parking, dine in can happen if you are ok with take out bowls and utensils (due to a shortage of employees, they cannot serve anyone like a restaurant), and there is water available.
I ordered the simple udon with tempura flakes that included spinach and it was amazing! The best part was how affordable it was!!
I tried my husband’s warm soba noodle soup and egg and chicken with rice. It was all so good!!
Would definitely come back here and recommend it to many!
It’s just a shame that so much dine in plastic containers are being used and wasted.
I tried the cold udon with mountain veggies combo with spicy tuna roll. The udon was pretty chewy and the veggies were a nice add. I got the noodles cold and it came with some soup with good flavor. However, I wish that there were options for all kinds of toppings. My favorite udon place in Boston (Yume ga aru kara) serves udon with many different toppings. The spicy tuna roll was pretty good too, and the pieces were huge! Lots of fish inside. It paired well with the ginger.
My boyfriend got the cold soba with fried pieces combo with curry rice. He said the soba was okay (definitely go with udon if you order from this place). The curry was sweeter than I’m used to, but otherwise pretty good.
Overall, the food was pretty good. I’d say better than some other udon I’ve had, but not my top.
