What happened to the good service?! It’s been a few years since we dined here, but service was always good. Remembering that we came here for my daughter’s birthday a few weeks ago and were so disappointed. We had a reservation for party of 6. Some of us arrived 15 minutes early so thought we’d wait for the rest of our party at the bar and get a drink. TV was on, little kids that weren’t mine were sitting at the bar, host seen us, sushi station seen us, no one came. By 6 all of our party arrived and we were seated around the hibachi. 5 minutes no one came to get a drink order. 10 minutes, 20 minutes. There were 3 others tables there all had service and food. After 30 minutes and a very upset birthday girl, my husband asks the host where our server is and expressed we didn’t even have drinks. A young man came a few minutes later to take our drink order and proceeds to tell us no one gave him a ticket, then walks away, comes back a few minutes later and we are all getting up to leave. Not sure if it was telling someone what happened, but he could have done that as he got us some water. We left and spent over $200 at Red Lobster where service was prompt and food delicious, we even got water when we arrived.

Great place, I go for the sushi. Friendly staff, nicely decorated. Pricing is fair, clean, restaurant wheel chair friendly, has a little bar for adult beverages and eating, and has an entertainment TV at the bar.

I had the worst experience on January 27. I made a reservation for a large party in the private dining room at 7pm. Mind you I made this reservation a month in advance. So I arrived around 6:41pm and they told me and my party others were in the room that I reserved and should be done in about 15 minutes. My party and I was on an itinerary which is why the private room was reserved. We waited the 15 minutes, but 15 minutes later turned into 20 that turned into 30 that then turned into an hour later. For a reservation to had been made an entire month in advance, the host even agreed there was a reservation for me. It was extremely rude and unprofessional to allow other guests to have a room that you knew in advance was reserved a month prior. There was no since of urgency or sympathy for the way me and my group were treated when we did what was told by making an reservation so we wouldn’t run into this issue. So after waiting an hour, we left there at 7:51pm and took our business elsewhere due to being mistreated as if our service and reservation was unimportant. That was the most disappointing service I’ve ever experienced.

I went here with my lady and we decided to go to Fujiyama. Instead of getting a table we set at the Hibachi table. It was 3 of us at the Hibachi table (the other guy sitting with us we didn’t know, but we talked to him and he was a very pleasant individual) Anyways, back to the food. The guy cooking the food on the Hibachi grill was really entertaining! My lady got the Hibachi Shrimp w/rice, I got the Hibachi Specialty which was Chicken,Shrimp and Lobster and the guy sitting at our Hibachi got Hibachi Shrimp with rice and lo mein noodles (I never seen anyone have rice and lo mein together in one meal. Overall, the atmosphere, the food and the restaurant was pretty good! I would highly recommend Fujiyama’s to others!!
