As a day late Anniversary dinner, we decided to go to Fujiyami. Food was amazing and our chef was really entertaining. We even had our own special serenade. Service was great and the food was delicious. We really enjoyed ourselves and plan on visiting again soon. Thanks for a great experience.

Nice people but it is NOT cook at your table.
We have been to several of Fujiyama restaurants and were excited to visit one on our vacation this time. We arrived to find a sign on the door that states that they were unable to cook at your table. We took a chance anyway to try the restaurant as we have had consistently good food and service at other restaurants on previous visits. We were seated by the hostess. We passed by the sushi bar and the empty main dining room and were seated with the majority of people in the back hallway near what seems to be a service entrance. The waitress was very pleasant but service was not very prompt. We ordered the chicken dinner only to find that the chicken was very tough and not very good. There was a large portion of rice which was very good. The soup and tea were both lukewarm. Service was slow and we were at the very last table so we did not see the waitress very often. In keeping with the slow service, the check was a long time in coming and we were happy to leave once the meal was complete. As we were leaving we saw that they were starting to seat people at the cooking tables but did not see any chefs servicing that area. Overall, a disappointing dining experience that I would not recommend for my fellow travelers.

I’ve come in here before and it was better but it looks like their quality has gone downhill. I got a spicy salmon hand roll and I don’t think there was a shred of salmon in it. It was tempura flakes mixed with spicy mayo, if there was salmon it was undetectable. I also got a butterfly roll which is eel, avocado, tempura shrimp topped with masago. There wasn’t even enough eel to taste it and so little avocado it wasn’t even present in all six rolls. They bring me masago when I asked and everyone was very nice. For $20 worth of sushi I would expect to get more seafood than a single shrimp and a tiny shaving of eel, I don’t think I got any salmon in my salmon roll not even a hint of salmon flavor. I hate complaining or sending food back so I just paid and won’t be back. Ichiban doesn’t have as nice of an ambiance but they do put seafood in their sushi.

Pitiful. This place is severely understaffed. There aren’t even any grill chefs. There was one server for the entire restaurant who could barely keep it together, bless her heart. The highchairs and booster seats were grimy. After placing our orders, my two little girls waited about one hour for chicken nuggets and fries, then we waited 20 more minutes for our food. The server kept the alcoholic drinks going for the people sitting on the other side of us, but we only got one refill after an hour of being seated. We spent far too long here.

Waitress was friendly. Our food was delicious but unfair portions. While I got one roll, my husband got two because he eats a lot and it seemed like I got more than him. He was expecting the two full size rolls he ordered but it really did seem like one roll between the two. He even had to order another one since he was still hungry and that one came full sized. Not sure what happened but he was disappointed considering the full price that was paid for only about 4 pieces of each one. It made us question how they measure out the food vs price. The waitress didn’t seem to have a problem with the portion so I’m really not sure how they do things there. Price was a bit high, it was almost $60 for two soups and 4 rolls but if they were full sized rolls am sure we would of been happier to pay it. Husband doesn’t really want to go back unfortunately since that money could get us a nice big meal elsewhere, shame since it was good sushi. I wish I would of taken pictures.

WORST SUSHI IVE EVER HAD. Most gas station sushi I’ve had is better. I travel the country for work, eat sushi like 2 times a week in many different cities- and this is probably the worst I’ve ever had. Absolutely DROWNING in a mix of Mayo, hoisin and fish sauce, you can’t even taste the sushi. Who let the busboy play with the knives and rice? Just look at it. They should’ve called it “Amazing Condiment Rorr”. Ugh

We had a terrible experience here and the food is awful. We ordered sashimi and it arrived at our table warm, so clearly it had been sitting out. The waitress forgot our order of shrimp and then told us someone else must have taken it??? Then reported back they had run out.
I ordered the seafood udon for $19 and it came with two pieces of shrimp and two scallops. An absolute ripoff. Overpriced and nasty food.

Ate there tonight after a long day at New River Gorge National Park. The food was delicious. Best hibachi I have ever had. We literally cleaned our plates. I love to cook. I’m really critical because I cook. There are no criticisms I can make. From the front door back it was clean, personable, and there were smiles everywhere. Our waitress was awesome. Highly recommend.
