The expectations weren’t met. I ordered take out, 2 entrees and a kids meal, the photo shown below is the kids meal that doesn’t include vegetables, soup or salad. We spent over $80 on all 3 meals and were left disappointed in the quality and quantity of the food. I expected the price will match the quality but I’m just left with the thought that we were ripped off.

Had my son’s birthday party here because he wanted Hibachi. They sat us and then ignored us for 40 minutes. I went to the host and asked if we could get drinks and she seemed annoyed. We had nine people, 5 of our orders were right, 4 were wrong. I told our chef we were there to celebrate my son’s birthday and HE JOKINGLY DISMISSED IT BECAUSE IT WAS THE NIGHT BEFORE HIS ACTUAL BIRTHDAY and then it wasn’t mentioned again. One child never got served anything even when we asked for it a few more times. Poor kid just wanted a California roll. Then they didn’t give us a bill, when I asked the host to pay so that we could leave she was annoyed. Food was mediocre at best, sodas tasted weird. Several of us had upset stomachs the next day. Never again. Luckily my son had fun with his friends but I was so disappointed we chose this place to celebrate him, he deserved so much better.

This place is a rip off. They charge way more than the serving is worth. More salty than flavorful. And to top it off it was just myself and my 2 children we didn’t eat at the habachi side we sat at a regular table I ordered habachi and one ordered a $15 kids meal that didn’t even include the drink and the other a sushi roll with a side of rice. They took a $73 bill and added a 15.50 tip on top of the sales tax. Service sucked and definitely isn’t worth the 21% markup. The lady came took Our order and we sat there watching our sushi roll sit for over 10 minutes before she brought it to the table. I could’ve gotten up and grabbed it myself… My daughter’s chicken fingers off the kids meal came cold And the hibachi was really salty with a very small portion for $36 Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else Sakura up the road is way better flavor quality and very good portions. You would expect it to be better service when there was only one other party in the entire restaurant. Never again

I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding an incident I witnessed at your restaurant. During my recent visit, I observed the supervisor speaking to employees in a disrespectful and unprofessional manner directly in front of customers. We were in the middle of enjoying a nice show and she abruptly interrupted and said something to chef causing that the enjoyment stopped for all of us and including the chef this is no professional not nice al all
This behavior not only creates an uncomfortable atmosphere for diners but also undermines the employees’ dignity and the restaurant’s professional image. As a paying customer, I expect a positive and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
I respectfully request that this matter be addressed to ensure a more professional and respectful work environment for your team, and a more pleasant dining experience for your customers.

Most years we have had great service on our Christmas Eve hibachi. 2025 was a bit different… they must have been short of help that night. We were seated immediately and sat at our table for 45 min, asking for water, plates, silverware and taking our order. Other parties arrived after us and were served an eating before we ordered

My daughter wanted hibachi grill for her birthday so we went here and had a blast! The chef was very skilled, funny and attentive. He made our dining experience very enjoyable. The portions were a very good size. The busser was friendly with a great demeanor and so was the hostess.
When we were finished, everyone wished my daughter a very happy birthday. We all left with a smile!
There is plenty of free parking. Reservations are required for regular dining or the hibachi grill. You just need to specify which you prefer when you call. We will return for more dining in the future.

I used to absolutely love coming here! But year after year it gets worse. The owners attitude (the gentleman) is awful and ignorant. The chef made the night, he was funny and engaging, but the food lacked flavor and the portions have gotten a lot smaller. The chicken was stringy and chewy. It’s a shame because it used to be a fun birthday tradition. You ask for refills from the gentleman and he ignores you or gives attitude, the lady is a sweetheart and does her best.

Fujiyama was delightful. It was a pretty quiet night. Had a hibachi dinner. Our cook was pleasant and really nice. Would recommend if you’re in the Pottstown area and want good hibachi

Went on a Sunday night around 5pm and wasn’t that busy (there was no wait). The chef was super friendly and had such a positive vibe about him! I ordered the chicken and steak hibachi. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious.. the soup, the salad , the whole meal! I wish I got the chefs name but he was so great! The rice was outstanding! We ordered sushi as an appetizer (chicken tampura roll) that I would say was ok but my friend ordered the lobster tampura roll.. out of this world! The portion size was hugeeee so I didn’t have any room for desert! Overall a great time and will definitely be back in the future! The food is a little pricey but we’ll worth it! Ps: the picture is the good I took home with me!
