Came across this restaurant by chance. Absolutely lovely. Great service from the moment we entered. Sat at the sushi bar and got to see the magic happen. Service was fast, the food was fresh, and timed perfectly. The flavors were on point. Highly recommend coming here when in the area or just traveling through.

I went into Fujiyama for the first time for a takeout order and Diana helped me. Wow wow wow!!She was amazingly kind and helped me with everything with quickness even though she was single-handed running the restaurant by herself. I was very impressed by how everything ran and I worked in many restaurants before. The food was great and the service was exceptional. I’ll definitely be back to dine in there for sure.

We went to eat Lunch/Dinner here at 3:00 PM on a Saturday with a good friend who eats here often and recommended the restaurant. We sat in the section that did not have the hibachi tables because we were planning on eating sushi instead of the Hibachi grill.

We started our meal with their house salad. The salad dressing was flavorful, and they were very generous with the amount of dressing. I eat at many hibachi restaurants, and I thought this was the best salad served in this style that I have had. After the salad, we ordered the mixed tempura plate. The tempura was light and crispy. The dipping sauce was flavorful and enhanced the flavor of the tempura but was not overpowering. The plate had peppers, sweet potatoes, broccoli, zucchini, acorn squash, onions, and beautiful long shrimp.

It was then time for the sushi to arrive. We ordered the Shogun Roll (a specialty roll not on the menu), the volcano roll, the monster roll, and a spider roll. I thought the sushi we ordered had great flavor and was well constructed and tightly wrapped. Nothing fell apart as we tried to eat it. My favorites would be the Shogun Roll and the Monster Roll. This was the first time I had eel on my sushi, which was very good.

The service was very good, and they always kept our drinks filled. They were attentive when we were ready for the next portion of our meal and never rushed us as we ate. We left a little bit before 5:00 PM, and they were very busy. If you plan on coming during regular dining hours, I recommend making a reservation.

Very good food and atmosphere. All seafood we ordered was fresh and perfectly prepared. The restaurant was very busy during my visit (July 3, 2025 8pm-ish) however the waiter and waitress handled the late dinner rush very professionally and politely. Our food was delivered to our table quicker than I expected given the amount of other customers, and our sushi and entrees were served exactly as ordered. Great service, great food. Will be back!

The fish was very high quality and delicate so eating was a very good experience. The service wasn’t as bad as other reviews I just felt it was lacking. The atmosphere was really nice and modern with culture at pieces and things like that. Overall I would go again.

The waitress are always drunk every time i go there. Ive seen them pick up kids and kiss them on the mouth. The chefs would smoke cigerattes and then make sushi without gloves or washing their hands. Just an over all weird place.

I was very disappointed that the waitress was rude. My friend asked to use the restroom but she said for “customer only”. My friend was dying to go to the restroom and she said please twice. Obviously we are but the way she approach us is not a good customer service. She should had offer the restroom since she didn’t have a table ready. I was taken aback. She sounds like races. We’re professionals but we dressed casual for walking. Customer should be treated the same.

The restaurant has a high ceiling so it’s noisy, and the Southeast Asian female waitress makes the customers drink even louder, and there’s no manager and only one waitress, so even though we made a reservation, no one told us to come in, so we stood there for 5 minutes, and even when we came to the table, the female waitress didn’t take our order but hugged a white customer who was leaving. It felt like this was a restaurant or a bar where only men go.
