sometimes it takes 10 separate calls to finally get a hold of someone to place an order for pick up. Their food is usually really good, with large portion sizes, so typically food for the next day as leftovers.

I was really disappointed with my experience at Fuji Yama. The food overall was just okay, but the onion soup was genuinely bad and not enjoyable at all. The service was the biggest issue. We didn’t receive our soups until after our entrées came out, despite reminding our server multiple times. Instead of checking on us, she was sitting at a table next to us on her phone. When I finally asked for a drink refill, she brought me the wrong drink. Between the poor service and the lackluster food, this place just isn’t worth the money or the time. I’d recommend saving both and eating somewhere else.

This is a review from a visit in December of 2022. We were heading to the restaurant across the highway which happened to be closed for maintenance. We ended up here.
The restaurant could definitely have used a decor overhaul. The two dishes look almost identical. I had hibachi pork that is made with bell peppers, mushrooms and onion. The hubby had the beef, chicken and shrimp with broccoli. Both dishes came with sauteed carrots and white rice. Morning really stood out with our meals. They weren’t bad but not the best we’ve had. I would like to try it again too see if anything has changed.

Highly recommend dining here for delicious food at a low price. They bring you soup as soon as you sit down. The reason for a star deduction is they brought our entrees right after receiving the salad and egg roll appetizer. I would have preferred time to eat the salad ($2) and egg rolls ($2 for 2)before receiving my entree.
I replaced my rice with extra veggies to my chicken hibachi($8) for $1 and then a side of fried rice for $2.50. Such a deal! I should have not ordered the rice and just ate from my friend’s rice because it’s a large portion.
The food is fresh and they use high quality ingredients. They leave a bottle of white yum yum sauce at your table! It’s so good.
Plenty of parking in the attached lot. We saw many people getting take out. It’s a no thrills ambiance but amazing food and affordable.

Food is consistently good and always quick to get your order no matter if you go in to eat or get it to go. Plenty of parking. Even if it’s busy you still don’t have to wait long fit for a table.

Not only will you get verbally abused by the lady at the register heaven forbid you try to call and order, then when you go to pay for your to-go order if you don’t pay attention she will add a 10.00 tip for you. If you change the amount the food she gives you will have no sauce and will be completely wrong. Not only does she yell and scream at customers she does it to her staff as well and is the reason we don’t sit down to eat.

I went in to order a to go order. The hostess was on older Japanese lady. We had questions and was met by hostility bc we were t sure yet what we wanted to order. When we ordered we weren’t given what we ordered. My neice very kindly tried to speak with her about this and again we were met with hostility and she raised her voice. I have never been spoken to in a restaurant or any establishment the way this women spoke to us! I will never go back. We were very nice about it. She was a very angry women!
