I can’t says enough good things about this cozy, authentic sushi spot. Service is friendly and fast and the sushi is not only fresh and delicious, it is also a beauty to behold. I haven’t had a better experience in all my travels. As a plus, you’ll not believe that it all comes at a fair and modest price. This is our new favorite in mid-Michigan!

Not great sushi. Roll had little fish; very thinly sliced, and tuna was no good. They hibachi dishes on other tables looked good, so maybe that’s a better option here. Server was nice.

Stopped in while down for a horse show, and were very pleased with the whole experience. My friend at the time was waiting for gallbladder surgery, and so could have almost zero fat – the chef prepared her a special roll with just crab and cucumber so she could have a ‘safe’ appetizer. Waitress was also amazing; helped us pick dishes with low fat content, and suggested a roll that I loved.

THIS IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PLACE TO GO FOR SUSHI!!!! I recommend this place to everyone since not that long ago, I didn’t even know about it, which is crazy to me since everything here is so good. I’ve had so many different rolls including both the standard rolls and special rolls. The miso soup is so comforting. The bbq squid is delightful. They sell marble soda as well which is really nice. Every server I’ve had there is so nice, sweet and attentive. Sometimes they will even bring you sliced oranges after your meal and they are always SO JUICY!! Honestly, I’ve been to Maru sushi a few times as well and although I like both places- This place has my comfort food. I really would recommend them over Maru, especially if you are looking for a more budget friendly option, as prices aren’t too steep!

Cozy little sushi place. Very friendly staff and a lovely spot for lunch or dinner. The sushi is excellent though presentation looks a bit rushed. Rice is perfect temperature and fish is very fresh. Probably the most authentic experience that can be found in the Tri-City area. I’ll be back.
