I used to enjoy coming to this place. But sometime last year, I noticed that the owner was no longer coming to take orders. A new “hostess” took on the role of handling orders. Customer service decreased and so has food quality.

I used to love this place . But the main hostess there is super rude. She always hurry you and try to take all ur plates without even asking. Like I still had some chicken and noodles in my plate and i was taking my time as my friend and I were talking. She just came to our table and took away the plate. So freakin rude. Also, they charged me an incorrect amt by increasing the tip. It was only 2$ higher but still what thieves. Hate it

Listed as the top Sushi spot in the area. Went for dinner, nice quaint place, has all the hallmarks of a daily run business and that’s what I like supporting. They had lost every table of all 15 filled. Great service for a full floor. I got the Bento dinner box, I substituted the roll for a higher priced specialty roll, they just charged me the difference which is fine, at least I got to substitute! The other 2 with me got sushi rolls and were not disappointed. I should have got pictures from them, but hey, it’s a roll, you’ve seen those before I’m sure!! If in the mood for Japanese you should try this spot out!!

Went in there with wife who is the least picky person in the world and she agrees with me on how horrible the place was from service to food. Sushi Fuji has an old run down look and feel to it, the service was very poor but what really did it for me was the quality of the food. The sushi was by far the worst I have EVER had. Store bought sushi was more memorable than this place. If you are a sushi connoisseur, then I suggest you skip this place… you will be very disappointed.

I love this Sushi. 100%, hands down, THE-BEST- SUSHI-in Jacksonville. The way these guys make sushi is so perfect and clean. I eat there typically on Friday’s, but have been know to have more days there. The food is always good, tables clean, in and out quickly, and they are very kind to me. I love the intimate setting and I enjoy how easy it is for me to relax during lunch. My go to, healthy, gluten’-free option. I compare ALL sushi to the restaurant. And it doesn’t change with different chefs! The culture of this location shows perfection and top service.

Went to this place for my birthday it was the ABSOLUTELY WORST experience ever. The food was amazing, however the waitstaff was the very WORST ever. To the owner please hire new waitstaff especially replacing the rude young lady with the very low hair cut. If this place goes out if business it will be due to the waitstaff. To the owners please upgrade your waitstaff because most of them there are Not there for the betterment of your establishment.

I’m having to update my review. Ordered from here and it said it would be ready in 35 minutes. Show up 45 minutes later and it isnt ready. It takes another additional 40 minutes before my food is ready. The order consisted mainly of sushi and was not a big order. The teriyaki and hibachi meals come with very little meat and a ton of veggies.
