Take your money elsewhere! Please don’t waste your time here..I was looking to find a nice pan-asain restaurant to take my family to and have I maitai while visiting my family for my nephews birthday party today. I went to the restaurant with plenty of time to spare prior. The information on the website was completely inaccurate. They do not have a full service bar or a liquor license period. The menu item I wanted to order was not on the menu and the customer service I received was the worst I have ever experienced and I have worked every position you can think of in the food service industry . Where do I start? We walk in to an empty restaurant and the server stands at the door after seating us and stares at me the entire time I’m looking at their three menus, we had to share the main menu because he didn’t give me one, I ask them about the dish I came for and the man looks at me like I grew a second head and says they don’t serve that. I tell him I need a moment to think of something else and he stands close to me with his notepad pressing me while I’m looking. I ask him if I can have a MaiTai and he informs me that they do not have a liquor license. I order an appetizer and my family puts their order in. I wasn’t allowed to get a kids sized portion for my 6 year old when the menu online also states there’s a kids menu, weird right so no drinks, the dish I wanted isn’t on the menu and they don’t have a kids menu. I put in my order and other people start coming in. He delivers the food and never checks on us again. I had to grab my own to go boxes for the leftovers and I was waiting for the check for so long I was getting to the point where I was going to now be late to the party. I go to the register and ask for my check. The waiter comes over and clearly starts bad mouthing me in another language to the cashier and I still write in a decent tip which he’s standing over watching me write in and snatches the paper from my hand. I have no idea what this guys problem was and I was polite even though I was clearly very upset.
That was the most expensive meal I have ever had at an Asian restaurant and the service ruined my day. Someone that acts that way should not work around other people or in the service industry period. I have went to full service hibachi restaurants and paid less and had great service. This experience was truly disheartening and I am hoping to stop anyone else from feeling the way I did when I was there today. I have never wrote a bad review about a restaurant and do not like to complain because I know how it feels but please do yourself a favor ,and just don’t do it.

Absolutely DO NOT recommend eating here! The experience was awful from the minute we sat down. To start the Hibachi room was so cold, we couldn’t even sit there comfortably. There wasnt anyone else in the room and they had all the fans running. When our cook finished cooking our meal, we asked if they could turn the fans off, because we were freezing…he asked our server who argued with him and wouldn’t allow him to turn the fans off. Our food was cold minutes after hitting our plates. Then to top it off, our $120 had a $21 tip added to it without being asked or told. After asking the “boss” about it, he pulls out a menu that wasn’t even given to us, and shows us that any parties with more then 5 people are charged 18%, but we were charged 20, nowhere in the facility did they have anything posted that they charged any extra amounts for large parties. The customer service was absolutely horrendous. Our server, the guy who seemed to run the show, and the rest of the staff were ignorant. Take your money and go to Ichiban!

My food was delicious. The crab Rangoon bites tasted fresh, delicate and great. Main dish also very tasty. Coconut soup, super satisfying. I did however get served a dirty looking cup for water. I politely asked for a new cup, and when they brought it, it also looked dirty. Other than that, all delicious.

I haven’t been in this building since Ni Hao was open, but I am so glad I went!
The service was great, and we received the food so quick!
Everything was delicious. The sushi roll was one of the best I’ve had in a while. It had crispy fish skin or something on top.
The appetizer item called monkey brain I believe? It was really good, I recommend it if you like avocado.
My boyfriend really liked his mei fun (not sure if I spelled it right) and I got some kind of chicken with vegetables and garlic sauce.
The sauce came on the side. It was really tasty with a slight spice to it.
Highly recommend this place, I will go again.

My review is strictly for the takeout, I was not there for hibachi or any of their sit-down options. Sesame chicken and pork fried rice was somewhat bland to be honest, and it was the first time id ever had a Burnt eggroll. If thats the kind of food you want, id look elsewhere as theyre kinda pricey for what it is. The atmosphere looks like it was a genuinely beautiful place when it was first opened, but over the years has turned into a bit of a mess and a lot of the space seems to be unused now. A bit depressing tbh, but with some love and money it could be something truly special.

I have dined-in at Fuji Jade Garden two times and ordered take-out many times. I love having the option of Thai, Chinese, and Japanese all at the same time, and the food is typically good.

Having said that, there are two limitations of this restaurant: (1) the online ordering system is poorly developed and can be challenging to use, particularly when using your phone; and (2) the customer service is routinely bad. If you can make it past the struggle to order take-out, it is not uncommon to arrive to pick up your order 40-min later, only to wait at the counter for 5, 10, 15-minutes or more while being ignored by the staff. There will be a woman behind the cash register with her back to you, ignoring all of the customers in line as she fills bags with other orders. But you’ll need to be assertive to get her attention and insist on getting help to pick up your order. If you can get some help, you’ll often be told the order is not ready and will take another 10 to 15-min. The whole experience from ordering, to getting someone’s attention at the restaurant, to getting your food can be 60-min or more.

Unfortunately, there are not many options for Thai or Japanese cuisine on the west side of State College, so you have no choice but to use this restaurant or head downtown to places all the college students frequent. But if you use this place, be prepared for a frustrating experience and long wait.

After confirming with the owner, the hibachi tables have recently opened and will now be available as a regular, everyday dining option.

The BEST Asian place in all of Central PA. The flavors are super. The dishes are always fresh. The dumplings with hot chili sauce is my favorite. All of the Hofun noodle dishes are the best. The sushi is fresh and the varieties are incredible.

We loved spending our special evening here! The service was exceptional! Thank you! A little suggestion, please think of ways to make the front room cozier – it was chilly outside, and the temperature inside was almost as cold.

After opening their new location during the pandemic, I finally was able to come to the new location. I think the last location had a better visual appeal to it, but the new space has plenty of space. This restaurant has a ton of variety as it has a Japanese, Chinese and Thai menu all in one. Food is pretty good overall, but anytime you get a dish with vegetables they are under cooked. I don’t mind when vegetables are a little al dente but they are almost raw. There is also a struggle getting sushi when you order to go because they don’t adhere to certain instructions, like no wasabi. Otherwise, it’s a great place to eat and try a lot of different things.
