The food here was fantastic. The dumplings were delicious, and the Huoshao, or lamb soup, was equally tasty. However, I have a complaint about the price. This is a small restaurant with minimal service and a less than ideal dining environment. I expected it to be one of those neighborhood diners where locals eat and offer great prices. But unfortunately, it’s not cheap. For example, the lamb soup was $12 each, with very little meat and 80% broth. And the Huoshao, which costs over $2 each, has a very thin layer of meat. Considering the service and atmosphere, I expected the prices to be lower.

I really like the beef huoshao here! Inside is juicy but soup isn’t spilling out, outside is flaky. The lamb and 3 flavor dumplings were also good. I like how it’s hot but not so hot I immediately burn my mouth. You can almost eat it immediately. The lamb soup was flavorful too if you like lamb. In general I’d come back again, it’s a small little shop with very nice staff.

My boyfriend was very happy about this place because he said it was very authentic and it reminded him of his grandma’s cooking. I enjoyed it as well. The dumplings and noodle soup were nice and simple. I do prefer Huoshao over the normal dumplings though because the skins were too thick for me.

Good for grab a quick bite if you are craving for dumplings or huoshao. The place is smaller than cozy. Not good for party of five or more. Definitely good for small group gatherings. Menu is extremely limited. But everything they serve is good.

A small family run restaurant with fast and friendly service. their pork and chive dumplings were very fresh and well seasoned, each one is filled with meat juice just like the Xiao Long Bao! The beef Huo Shao Bao and Lamb noodle soup tasted pretty good too. Definitely want to try their other dumpling flavors next time.

This is a cozy shop that sells amazing dumplings and soups. They make the most delicious food with very simple ingredients and traditional techniques from northeast China. The lamb soup was so light but rich with flavor, and full of soft cubes of lamb. The huoshao and dumplings are amazing with a little chili oil and black vinegar.
You can also buy larger quantities of dumplings to go, if you’re having a party, and even bags of 50 frozen ones so you can steam them yourself later and have them every day.

Great food. Handmade dumplings are the best! We had spinach and tofu soup, chicken noodle and lamb soup. The noodles were soft, fresh and chewy. Lots of flavor. There are some really excellent dumpling places, so this was just shy of five stars purely for comparison.

Authentic handmade noodles and huoshao with friendly service. I really liked the noodles, which had just the right amount of “bite”. The lamb soup was tasty and not overly seasoned to where you couldn’t taste the natural flavors like in some other places. Highly recommended!
