We had a great experience with both hibachi meals and sushi, drinks were cold, food was hot, and seemed very fresh. We were hesitant with the up and down reviews but I think some people reviewing this place are very picky. Please use your own judgement and give this local establishment a try on your own, I’m glad I found a sushi place I can pop in at real quick.

I looked at the reviews before going. First, the price for dinner is not the same as it is for lunch. Dinner will add about $5 to the cost. The price was normal for a hibachi restaurant. Second, I did not think it was dirty at all and actually enjoyed the atmosphere. I thought the lighting, music, and decor was nice. Third, service was excellent. I will say the food wasn’t amazing but it also wasn’t bad and for someone who loves hibachi like myself, it satisfied the craving and the portions are huge. We will be back.

The servers were so friendly and helpful with recommendations when I was unsure of what to pick from the sushi menu. The sushi was delightful and well prepared. I definitely recommend this place if you are craving sushi, their hibachi meals are just as delicious so definitely try both.

The food was great, prices fair, and the service was fast! Our server was extremely attentive the entire meal. From the time we ordered to when it arrived, it was maybe 20 minutes. For two Hibachi entrees (including soup and salad, not pictured), two drinks, and two sushi rolls, it was well under $50. We were hesitant to go because of the bad reviews, but we were honestly impressed! Definitely will be back!

Fuji has gone downhill ever since covid. Once the restaurants in Hendersonville and Rivergate closed, my only option was White House. The staff has always been friendly but the restaurant itself is dirty. I ordered chicken hibachi and spring rolls to-go. I was shocked when my torso was almost $24. The chicken hibachi used to be $10 but it’s jumped $8. I opened my meal, and there was a long black hair wrapped around the chicken. I took it back in and they made me a fresh meal and only offered a bottled drink for my troubles. I was so disappointed in my meal and unfortunately it will be my last visit there.

I didn’t expect much from the sushi at a mid-TN restaurant, but this was honestly the worst sushi I’ve had. It was warm and did not look fresh at all. The hibachi dinner was meh. To-go service was good and gave us everything we needed.

Ate here 28 Jan 2023. Waitress was not very nice. Yum yum sauce had a piece of plastic or something in it. Sushi was and hibachi steak was okay. Won’t go back.

The food is of exceptional quality and somehow different from other places, especially the sushi… seems more authentic and for sure better than at other restaurants. When it comes to Japanese cuisine, this is one of the best choices.
