This is one of the restaurants I’ve ever been to. The sushi is easily the best I’ve ever had and I’m almost willing to go as far as saying it’s the best food I’ve had period.
The entire staff is wonderful and friendly. The atmosphere is great with many decorations giving a nod to Japan and it feels very cozy.
I’ve been twice within a week since first going it’s been that good. Tuesdays they have a buy one get one 50% off that’s a fantastic value and I’m looking at making it a weekly trip for me!! PS – the price I quoted is for my wife and I with drinks and dessert.

Been here many times juts never left a review. Food here is really nice. Comes out quick and has alot of options. Me and my wife got the chicken fried rice for our entrée. She got the eel avocado hand roll and I got the mackerel sashimi, these were delicious. I also got a squid dish that comes on top of seaweed salad. This was the highlight.

Fugu Sushi has been my go-to sushi spot for over 10 years, and they never disappoint. This time, I ordered the Crunchy Salmon Roll, and it was absolutely incredible. The texture was perfect—crispy on the outside while the fresh salmon inside practically melted in my mouth. The balance of flavors is something you can always count on at Fugu Sushi.
What keeps me coming back is their consistency in quality and the welcoming atmosphere. After a decade of dining here, I can confidently say Fugu Sushi has set the bar for sushi in the area. Highly recommend for both newcomers and loyal regulars like me!

I recently visited the restaurant after a 30-minute drive, excited to try their sushi rolls. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by poor service from our waitress, Wendy. When I inquired if the soy sauce contained alcohol, Wendy admitted she didn’t know and didn’t bother to check with the chef. I also asked whether the rice used in the rolls contained any alcohol, and again, she had no answers and showed little initiative to find out. It’s concerning that staff aren’t informed about the ingredients, especially in a restaurant setting. Given my dietary restrictions, I was hoping for a more attentive and knowledgeable service. Instead, I felt dismissed and frustrated. It’s a shame, as I had high expectations for this place. Overall, I left feeling disappointed and will never come back!

Came here for the first time on a lunch date, was not disappointed! The atmosphere was lovely, and the service and the food were perfectly adequate. I think I’ll have to come back for dinner to get a real experience of their food, but I would definitely come back

Amazing location, I can’t believe you can get real japanese food so cheaply. The cooks are all japanese, including the sushi bar. They are not costly because they are not pretentious however the food is highest quality possible. I eat there the Bento Box almost weekly. It’s considered not a full fledged restaurant, but rather a small fast-food type, so there’s plenty of sushi but not really anything else special or big, which is fine with me. They have plenty of sushi, soups and others. I highly recommend. Get a Bento Box or sashimi + warm sake or a fat lady (sushi) and then go for a walk in the Blacklick Metro Park. It can be cozy for dates and for young adults, but also nice for large families.

However, I was UPCHARGED for a “spicy tuna roll w/crunch” even though I ordered a “spicy tuna roll” and received the latter. Pic shows the $14 charged for the “crunch”, yet no crunch was added. I was too tired to drive all the way back. Check your order before you leave!
Boston Roll was good and so was shrimp tempura roll.
