4.5/5 . Wish the beef schwarma was from a rotisserie and in strips with a char like usually but the spices and flavor was very good. Great portion size too. Love that when you pick lettuce you also get onions and tomatoes so theres more flavor and fun! The grapes leaves and tabbouli were good too. The garlic sauce was very tasty and the pita bread is warmed in a fire oven. Very good. 23$ for the plate i was glad to pay.

I got a chicken shawarma bowl with lettuce as the base. I cannot describe it any way other than “wet.” They washed the lettuce but did not dry it resulting in a splash zone-like experience for my lunch. It must have been sopping wet because I think I poured out nearly a cup of water from the bowl. I should have taken photos, but I wasn’t thinking of it at the time.
Other items on the menu are tasty and well seasoned, but maybe stay away from the lettuce, lest you wind up with unexpected soup…

Got my food 12.49 for a taco. I ordered a burrito. The sauce was Larry’s buffalo sauce. To top it off. The food was so small and thin I was still hungry. I usually do not make bad reviews, but i felt like this experience deserves it :(. I was welcomed by a lady screaming numbers at my face, and then showing no interest in taking my order or having patience to be doing any type of customer service. I ordered a Chicken Kabob Bowl, lowkey i was expecting like a normal tasty bowl, but it was flavorless 🙁 I’m not trying to be mean, or get biased by the customer service, but maybe it wasn’t the best on the menu, or what i should have ordered. Anyway, hope next time i visit California i get a better experience at this place. (The lady on the picture was not the one screaming or the one that took my order just to be clear)

Tasty. This is not the easiest kind of food to find around here, but this place delivers. Got that classic Shawarma taste. Garlic aioli on point. Pita was fresh and they crisped my wrap up heckin’ goodly. Yaummy!

They charged my card $400 extra dollars instead of a $4 tip. Why would I tip $400 on a $20 meal? Luckily my bank flagged it as a fraudulent charge but I had to wait to get a whole new debit. I’ve heard they had also done this to others as well. The food was mediocre at best and not worth having to close your card and get a new one.

Got our order over and it took over an hour. About the 45 minutes mark and after 2 sets of people have gotten their orders I told my husband to check on our orders. He was told it’ll be ready in a few minutes. The 3rd pair of individuals who set next to us have gotten 2 orders of the same thing and happily ate it. Meanwhile we’re still waiting. The cashier in the front was not even apologetic and keep fulfilling orders before us. Before the cashier took out orders they were in the corner talking and I heard the one employee cussing loudly. When the cashier/front person took our order there weren’t that much orders at hand. In between the employees would talk and stop working instead of having a sense of urgency in fulfilling our orders as well as others. After over an hour the guy still did not apologize after over an hour of getting our orders. Terrible service and employees.

I was able to check out Fufu’s Middle Eastern Grill’s second location on opening day, Sept. 1, 2018! Yes, I know this review is overdue but I’ve had their food enough times to say each visit was a wonderful experience.
The prices are great and the people who work there are friendly! The entrees are plentiful and perfect for sharing.
Some of the items I enjoy here are their Mixed Plate (Kafta, Beef & Chicken). The meat is always tender and juicy. I really enjoy their Beef Shawarma Fries! It’s a MUST ORDER item! The Hummus pairs well with most of the entrees too.
Overall, Fufu’s is a gem in Riverside! The wonderful staff and delicious food will have you coming back!

Quick service was quick. We got lucky and the place wasn’t busy. Maybe it was because we went on a Wednesday evening. The falafel had a bit of a waxy after taste but the tahini sauce saved the meal.
