Stopped by Fuego Taqueria & Restaurante for lunch and wow… this place is a straight-up hidden gem. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was solid. Adriana was super friendly and recommended the asada mulita — 5 stars, easy. Packed with flavor and meat.
But here’s what really surprised me…
THE RESTROOM.
Yeah, I said it. The restroom was cleaner than clean and smelled like someone just finished folding fresh laundry in there. Most restaurants can’t keep a restroom like that unless their kitchen is spotless too — so that was a huge plus.
The food was amazing, but let me warn you…
That red salsa bottle?
If you’re not ready-ready, it will purify your soul No joke, that salsa has hands.
And to top it off…
They serve Pepsi.
Automatic win in my book.

I absolutely enjoyed the food. I talked to one of the owners, and he said that him and his son are the owners. The food was so good flavor filled with every bite. The regular asada burrito was so packed with flavor juicy steak. The quesabirria with consume and fresh hand-made corn tortillas. The beef was so tender packed with flavor. This is a must try. I look forward to many returns so I can try more of this very tasty authentic Mexican cuisine. Please do yourselves a big favor and try this very clean restaurant, and of course the service with a friendly smile was great. By the way, you can wash it all down with real Mexican coke cola.

1st time costumer becoming a regular! This food is amazing !! Best Mexican food in Fresno hands down!! Fresh Masa Tortillas ! And Amazing customer service! The owner and Chef Anthony was amazing at what they do ! They greeted My Mother and I we ordered as they gave us good recommendations on what to eat ! I ended up getting Lengua Tacos !! The place is in the old Mediterranean restaurant and it is spacious inside. They could do a bit more in there to make it more hospitable, but it’s fine by me. The people there were all very nice and attentive. The food was excellent. I love how they have some premium meat options. I ordered the taco bellicon (with rib eye) and it was quite tasty. One was enough for me. My wife ordered three tacos: tripas, carnitas and al pastor. Her favorite was the carnitas. My daughter ordered the quesibirrias and they were really delicious- my favorite thing we ordered. They all come with homemade tortillas, but not ones I am used to. They were made with yellow corn and were thick, but they fell apart pretty quickly. It was great.

I would like to start by saying the man at the counter was extremely nice and provided amazing customer service. The food I would have to give just a 3 star. The salsas were not tasty despite the red/orange one having beautiful color. The food I have to say is just alright but not as good as I would have liked, especially for the price.
My worries for this establishment are that the prices are way too high. They charge a lot for arracherra “flap meat” as it is listed in their premium meat section. I often have this same meat at other places for a fraction of the price.
With some slight adjustments to their receipes and definitely prices, they would attract a lot more customers.

Excellent tacos!! I had the carne Asad (premium). Succulent well seasoned beef. I highly recommend this restaurant, I am not from thisbarea, as I traveled here on business from Riverside County and I have had many carne Asad tacos, and in my 30+ years living in SoCal these are the best!! Hands down

New spot on the corner of Gettysburg and Fresno. The food is amazing. They have a nice selection of items and an extensive list of proteins…3 levels that increase in price. We tried 4 different items, and they were all delicious… except the chips and salsa, they left a lot to be desired. Service was great…quick and friendly. I’m definitely looking forward to going back, and I strongly suggest you swing by.
