The owner of Taqueria Guadalajara started something a little different, which is still delicious and authentic!
Great location just off the walking mall in Winchester.
Fantastic Rita’s made with either Tequila or Mezcal
Absolutely loved the smokey shredded duck tacos and steak w/pablano tacos.
Can’t wait to try new stuff next time I visit.
Jose, you’ve outdone yourself and so good to see you!

Quick service. Brought me chips and salsa, bottle of water and glass of ice right away. Waitress explained the specials and where the fillings and side orders were listed on the menu. Food was fresh and served quickly. Drink menu is great and drinks were tasty. Dessert was also great.

Stopped by for lunch about midday. The girl behind the bar immediately greeted us in such a friendly way and explained the menu as we sat down. We ordered the Fire Pulpo and the Fuego Chimi, which I didn’t realize was supposed to be a chimichanga, I was expecting grilled meat as described in the description with chimichurri. The Pulpo (octopus) was a very generous portion and cooked perfectly. I personally loved the roasted vegetables it came with the most, they were delicious! The chimichanga was also fresh and flavorful, but a little small if you’re really hungry. The chips were fresh and homemade with actual tortilla chips, which makes them perfect for dipping! The pineapple mint again frescas was also flavorful and refreshing. The decor and environment is very welcoming, they definitely did a beautiful job on the remodeling. Can’t wait to go back, I hope they expand their menu sometime!

Just returned from a fantastic meal at Fuego. Fajitas were awesome – a generous portion and delicious. The mango cheesecake was smooth and creamy- definitely recommend it. Reasonable prices. The wait staff was very attentive and the manager visited tables to see how people were doing. Love this place!

We loved our lunch!!! :o) The food was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. Even though we paid at the counter and seated ourself (outside, at a lucky table!) a waitress came by often to see if we needed anything and to bring us more chips, water, etc. The owner was there and enjoyed telling us about the different types of tacos. The only awkward thing is the girls bathroom which opens to main eating area. Would be worth moving a couple tables to put up some kind of barrier wall between the two bathroom doors and the customers. a plant wall would be cool. We’ll be back OFTEN, I’m sure. Nothing like living in old town Winchester and walking to restaurants around the walking mall. ROCK ON Winchester! Another win for awesome dining and a cool atmosphere. Congrats to the owners. :o)

Fantastic Mexican restaurant in Winchester! The staff were incredibly friendly and made everyone—families with kids included—feel welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavor and beautifully presented. Drinks were fabulous too, with creative cocktails and great non-alcoholic options. The place was spotless with a warm, aesthetic vibe and thoughtful décor. Loved the daily specials and discounts. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great Mexican food, great service, and a great atmosphere!

Wow, this hidden gem. Best authentic Spanish Mexican tapas… the churros are authentic Mexican style, soft buttery in the middle crispy on the outside. The vegan/ vegetarian options are advanced and incredibly palatable with rich flavors. The non alcoholic options were tasty. We tried everything in the menu, the fried bass was crispy with a fresh citrus that compliments the cilantro in the Sarah Zane, we did the hongo frito the oyster mushrooms were crispy but like shredded meat on the inside. Wow all of it was cooked and served perfectly

Wow. Location is great and the space is very nice. Absolutely outrageous prices though. Pictured is one of the tacos. These are small, two-bite tacos that they charge $5 each for. $2.50 per bite. A tiny cup of sour cream was another $2. But the biggest insult were their soft drinks. They have Coke products, and charge $4 each. They aren’t fountain drinks though; you just get a 12 oz can. I assumed that for 4 dollars, they just give you a can at a time for however many you want, but no. They shamelessly charge $4 for each and every 12 oz CAN of soda. I also got the queso dip, which appeared to be 3 melted mozzarella cheese sticks over top of very slightly cooked (unseasoned) white onion strips and a few strips of poblano. It had to be eaten with a fork and knife and was nothing like a cheese dip you would expect. This came in a very small dish and was $10. As for service, we were not greeted when we came in and it turns out you just order at the counter,
pay (and tip) up front, then sit. The employees (hard to say servers because there really aren’t any) just drop the food off and that’s it; they won’t come back out again. You must go back in to the counter for anything else. To top it off, they don’t make fresh chips. Instead, they come from a bag and then just add some seasoning. Great spot for some restaurant, but there is zero chance that this one lasts with these prices and quality

Absolutely delicious, 10/10. Best taco joint in Winchester by far. These aren’t just your basic chicken or steak tacos, these are speciality tacos (along with many other amazing entree options). You can tell everything here is prepared and crafted with care and authenticity. A little on the pricey side yes, but this ain’t chipotle. I will be coming back to Fuego’s very soon. Also, $6 craft margaritas on Mondays! I truly hope this place thrives here In Winchester!

Service and atmosphere were mostly good … but it was not a regular dining experience. Having pre filled tip options for 18, 20, and 22 percent for waiters that give you a single water jug to self water and only come to drop off food at the table is a bit ridiculous.
Unfortunately the food was not great, especially in comparison to the price. The atmosphere was fun, and “new”, but other than that just very disappointing flavors – I think there were mild attempts for an elevated eating experience, but unfortunately everything served missed the mark. I’m not sure if it was unauthentic food, an attempt at Mexican style tapas, or what – but certainly some of the most disappointing food I’ve had in a very long time.
The queso fundido was essentially melted string cheese on top of heated up peppers and onions. Outside of taste, it was virtually impossible to eat just in terms of the cheese being incredibly stringy.
Steak burrito was nice, but not worth $9 for such a small portion. Friend and I had differing opinions on the wings; again, nice, but the flavor and amount of gristle were not to my taste and tastes quite cheap. The drinks were fine and quite strong. Chips weren’t warm/fresh. A lot of the food just didn’t have much spice, either. I appreciated the chef (?) or I think it was the chef, coming by and asking how we were doing. We did not have the heart to tell him the food just sucked. Again, a very cool spot, but the flavor and the quality was just not there – especially at this price.
