The ingredients are all super fresh – and we’re obsessed with the cupped pepperoni and whipped ricotta. Their sandwiches are also massive and the focaccia is unreal.
Do yourself a favor and give this spot a try, you won’t regret it! It’s right next to 5003 Distillery in Scotch Pines and you can go in there for drinks and bring in the pizza from next door or have them bring it over to you.
Our new favorite Friday night spot!!
We ordered a deep dish Detroit style pizza today. I thought it was very, very good. The crust is a Nice, thick, chewy, bready one with a crunchy, salty exterior crust from where the cheese comes in contact with the hot pan. The toppings were all high-quality, with very thinly cut onions, rich tomato sauce and creamy cheeses. I was really impressed with the texture and flavors overall.
The ambience is very nice, but there is no table service, you order at the counter and eat off of paper plates with plastic utensils. It is VERY hard to eat this thick crust pizza with plastic utensils. I don’t particularly like eating such a thick crust pizza with my hands. It ends up being quite a mess.
They do have a lunch special where you can get a slice of the New York style and a drink for a very reasonable price. I understand they are working on getting a liquor license as well.
I would definitely go back, but I would probably get my Detroit style pizza to go, so I can eat it at home off of a real plate with real utensils.
Quite a few steps above the average Fort Collins college student pizza joint.
while I wanted to give this place 5 stars, there were a couple issues that they’ll hopefully be able to improve upon as they get more comfortable in that space. i was bothered by the lack of free tap water and the fact that the beverages we did purchase were not cold and we were not offered any cup or ice. the Fuego roni pizza was great crust but a touch too greasy for me. the highlight of the night was that the garlic knots were truly transcendent!
overall a great little place that I’ll be back to!
