A very good Mexican place with authentic food. Kind of like Chipotle but no need for tips. A burrito bowl with a soda was only $13 after tax. Very large portions as well. I enjoyed this place.

I hadn’t been to Fuego in years and was really excited to go back for a change of pace at lunch. Unfortunately, I left highly disappointed. The service was very poor — the lady serving my food never looked up when I tried to talk with her, and she seemed almost annoyed when I asked to sample the steak before deciding. When I asked which meats were most popular, it felt like even that was an inconvenience.

When it came to the toppings, the experience wasn’t any better. She barely put any cheese on my food, and when I politely asked for a little more, she added only the tiniest amount. On top of that, she barely served any chicken — I was literally searching through my bowl to find it. At no point did she make eye contact or smile, which made the whole interaction feel cold and unwelcoming.

A simple smile, friendliness, and fair portions go a long way in customer service — and unfortunately, all of that was completely missing here.

Very disappointed that the Kids Burrito Bowl has been taken off the menu. It was the perfect size for kids and for adults who don’t eat as much as the full size bowl. So instead of getting two kids bowls we will start ordering just one regular bowl. Seems like a loss. I hope they bring the kids bowls back soon! Aside from the taste it was one of the only reasons we drove out of our way to go to Fuego.

We haven’t had Fuego in a while but decided to have some last night. I will say this starting, the place was extremely clean, which I am a huge fan of. Now the negative, which I used to speak very highly of this place to almost anyone. The food has completely lost all flavor, it is very bland and almost not even enjoyable anymore. Here is the one that is extremely unacceptable. I was checking out, and per usual they ask for your phone number to see if you have rewards, then they tell you the total. After the total they flip the screen around and that is the tip screen, where you add or decline, then sign. The guy working packed my bag, said $36 is your total, I tapped my card. I wasn’t thinking but he never flipped the screen around, and then he asked if I wanted a receipt and I said no, thinking as many times as I have eaten there everything is normal. Well I left and then the text came through the app where it charged me, they guy put a $3 tip on it for himself without my permission. I am not one to gripe about things, but that is theft and unacceptable. Is $3 a big deal, no, but it is a big deal when it is done without my permission. This has cost them a repeating customer and honestly I will no long share a positive experience about them to people, instead tell them how they are operating now. Sad…..

Someone just didn’t want to come to work today. He had no customer service skills. First time here. The food tasted ok. Nothing extraordinary. I don’t think i am going back here.

Fuego used to be my favorite. Always raved and praised how much better and more fresh the food was compared to Chipotle. I can’t say that anymore. The last few times I have ordered food from there for delivery there is barely any ingredients on there. I get the cost of food has gone up, but skimping to the point all you have is rice (which has had a very slimy weird taste), your going to have an influx of leftovers to go bad bc people will eventually stop wasting their time and money at your establishment. If I am in person ordering I ask for extra which in turn is just a normal serving size at other places. I don’t know if it was sold, there were rumors a while ago that it was, if that’s the case, the new owners are driving what was once a really great place to eat into the ground. Overall besides portions, food has lost flavor, and like I said before, the rice…..something ain’t right with that!

Made order online for pickup on TacoTuesday. Promo code did not work online for half price tacos. Called to place order so could get half price tacos ordered correctly. Store instructed to order online anyway and would reimburse when picked up food. Declined to take order by phone. Picked up food at register. Was instructed to take a seat and someone would be out in a minute to reimburse for what we already paid online since half price Taco Tuesday promo code was not working. No one assisted me after 15 minutes. I took my losses and left with my now cold food to feed my hungry family at home. Won’t go back. Could see bottom of taco shell from lack of ingredient and sad portion of chips for chips and queso. Take pride in your work people. Do better. Communicate.

What do you get when you cross a Chipotle-style, Mexican Restaurant and great customer service? Fuego, which by way is a Spanish word that translates into passion. That is exactly what they have passion not only for food but for their customers. When you get sincerely asked “How was everything?” and they are hanging on your every word for a response you know you are in the right place.

My coworker and I are one week 3 of going here for Taco Tuesday – any place that will offer a discount because of a day of the week is my kind of place.

I’ve had both soft and hard shell tacos and I’m working my way through the protein options, but if it’s your first time try the chicken or steak. Then walk the line and dress it with whatever you please. Some things like queso or guacamole are extra, but that’s kinda standard.

Finish off your order with a Mexican Coke or one of their refreshing juices.
