The bar area is especially impressive, with a sleek design, plenty of seating, and lots of TVs — perfect if you want to catch a game while grabbing a drink or eating at the bar.
Customer service was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. You could tell they really care about creating a great experience.
And let’s talk about the food — fresh, flavorful, authentic, and surprisingly affordable for the quality. Every dish we tried was clearly made with care and packed with real Mexican flavor.
If you’re looking for a clean, chill spot with amazing service, a nice bar, and delicious food that won’t break the bank, this is definitely the place to go. I’ll absolutely be back!
I’ll start by saying that I did order through Uber eats, which I understand can cause confusion within the restaurant, however when I placed an order this evening for the carnitas, chilaquiles, and chorizo dip, I received different entrees than what i ordered and the chorizo dip was delivered in a Styrofoam container that had melted into the cheese sauce. I called the restaurant with the intent of taking back the incorrect order to have it swapped with the correct order. The young man who answered the phone didn’t even seem like he was a legitimate employee. When I explained the situation he would just give me these generic responses such as “wow that’s awful”. He didn’t attempt to verify my order, barely addressed the melted plastic in the dip (he did say they were out of the normal containers so this was what they were using / yeah that’s not safe, just make the item unavailable for delivery/take out). Through our conversation I didn’t feel he understood what I was trying to convey (not a language barrier) so I asked to speak with a manager or even just a more experienced staff member, he told me that he was the only one at the restaurant other than kitchen staff. I asked if I could just bring the food back and get a refund and he told me the manager wouldn’t be in until tomorrow afternoon.
I don’t even blame the employee if what he told me was true but I’m really disappointed in what was becoming one of my favorite spots in Fayetteville.
We’ll see how tomorrow goes, but at the very least, be careful of melted plastic in your food if you plan on ordering takeout… (this was a mistake, order the chorizo dip always, because it’s delicious )
*Update* I went by today after 3 and was promptly greeted by the friendly staff up front and seconds later the manager/owner came to me fully prepared to address/rectify my concerns. I feel very heard, respected, and will absolutely continue my patronage here❤️ (thank you to the young man who did his best to help me over the phone at the time of my order by taking good notes for his manager to assist today, I’m so sorry if I made you feel nervous, I was just confused at the time)
Even though we brought our own cake, the staff still surprised my sister by singing Happy Birthday and presenting her with a beautiful fried ice cream dessert—such a thoughtful touch! They even offered her a complimentary drink (she doesn’t drink, but the gesture meant so much).
Everything about this experience was memorable and heartfelt. We truly felt celebrated and welcomed. We will definitely be returning!
