I tried all their items, and honestly, I was surprised by how authentic everything tasted.
The Fuchka was perfectly crispy and flavorful.
Doi Fuchka was the best — creamy, tangy, and delicious (just wish it had a bit more chanachur).
Chotpoti had great flavor too — just needed to be a little thicker.
Momo was okay but could use improvement in the filling and a chili oil sauce would make it perfect.
Halim was outstanding — rich, meaty, and full of flavor.
Their new Beef Tehari had an amazing aroma, though it could use a bit more spice balance.
And the Jhalmuri — absolutely the best! I felt like I was back in Bangladesh. The aroma of the spices, crispy muri, ঘুরনি and little slices of tomato gave it that true deshi street flavor — pure nostalgia! ✨
Overall, I loved everything and it truly felt like a taste of home. So happy to have Fuchka Express bringing authentic Bangladeshi street food to Long Island! ❤️
One suggestion: they should be a bit more professional with timing ⏱️ — if the truck will be late due to any issue, it would help if they placed a cone or sign at their usual spot to let customers know.
Their fuchka tastes exactly like home — crisp shells, tangy tamarind, and that perfect spice kick that hits your soul the way proper fuchka should. The chotpoti is even better: rich, warm, and comforting with that street-style flavor we all grew up with. It’s not watered down or ‘Americanized’ — it’s the real deal.
I also loved their tea — simple, strong, and soothing. The kind of cha that makes you remember your hometown in Bangladesh—- essence of that “deshi” vibe and smell ❤️
To top it all, Great customer service and friendly owners. The level of love and kindness you will receive will make you want to become a regular.
Overall, this place is such a gem. If you’re Bangladeshi or just love good street food, this will make you genuinely happy. Highly recommend.
