Fu Yu was absolutely amazing!! This is a family owned business and the staff is so kind and helpful to all of our questions. The food was AMAZING! The portions were oversized and HUGE! The price for everything you get is fantastic and almost too good to be true. This place should have a line out the door every night. It was also super quick! If you want a great Chinese restaurant go to Fu Yu!!!

Restaurant was obviously handed down to the next generation and they don’t take it seriously. So many times I’ve called over and over and even went there in person and they are closed. When they finally answered the phone 5 hours later I asked them about their hours and they said they were there. I said I called, no answer. We were here. I came up there, no lights, door was locked. You’d think that they could cook it right. Over cooked the livers and gizzards.
The fried rice is bland and was stuffed under the orders of livers and gizzards. The General chicken was wrong. A mixture of sweet and sour sauce and an attempt at spicy. A complete failure. Don’t come here.
Update: eggroll is half way burned. Crab Rangoons taste sour not sweet. Overcooked too.

The food was hot and nasty. The shrimp was over cooked. The chicken had no flavor to it. I also ordered the sample appetizer and the only thing half decent was the chicken eggroll. I would not recommend this place.

For what it is it’s pretty great. It’s a local family owned restaurant. They are always very nice. The prices are great, and the crab Rangoon are killer. I wouldn’t expect the best plate you have had, that’s tough in Stl. We have a great Chinese food scene here, but this place is a solid go to if you are in the area.

They are never open when they say they are! False advertising. They close at 10pm i called at 8 and couldn’t an answer. Even during the day time hours posted, when you go up there, they are not open.

Their food is always great. I never found rice that taste like it, and their chicken is actually editable, and it’s always consentince u don’t have to worry about your food being burnt or not made right sometimes they may take 30 mins but it’s the quality that counts and they have the best
