I had an awesome first experience at Frying Fish Idaho! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming – they genuinely make you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. The vibe is super chill, and you can tell they love what they do. I was really excited to see that they offer a gluten-free option as someone who has been gf for a decade. Even for being gf, my fish and chips were delicious! I’ll definitely be coming back for more – highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area.

Gluten-free fish and chip option. And homemade tartar sauce. Definitely a great place to stop by and try. The food was not too greasy and the customer service was great. Also it’s super cute to sit in that little area picnic table style and eat during a nice summer day. Would definitely recommend.

Hands down, best food truck in Sandpoint. It’s fresh, delicious and the crew behind the food is rad! It’s awesome to have something like this in town! Highly recommend trying it out. Just heads up though, they’ll get you hooked.

Ordered the poke bowl. Husband had the fish & chips. We both felt the portions were small for the price point. Unfortunately while the poke fish was fresh, the overall dish was disappointing at best. Just raw cubed fish over rice with a bit of soy sauce on the bottom served with a few vinegar marinated slices of cucumber. I took the poke home & fixed up myself to make it palatable. Wish we could say we’d be back, but don’t think we will.

Excellent take on fried fish and chips. I’m a fried fish guy and have Lots of Fried fish over the years, including a long stint in New England. Also a great job on the tartar sauce! I’ll be back soon!

The poke was unlike any I have ever had….so fresh, clean and chocked with yummy greens and onions. The coconut rice was perfect alongside. Will def be back!
