WOW! Delicious…. the BEST crabcake I have ever had!!! Enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Frye’s Famous Crab Cake and EVEN met the nice owner (and his lovely wife) the Fryes! See photo to appreciate generous portions! Great service, lovely atmosphere and you must try a slice of the vanilla/lemon cake for dessert. WOW! Thank you for the kind hospitality, Mr. Frye! We stand firm in saying what EVERY restaurant owner wants to hear….. we will be back!!! Thank you!!!

The crab great was full of crab and delicious. The shrimp pasta salad was good and tasted very similar to the crab salad which was made with IMITATION CRAB!! Why in the WORLD would they use imitation crab at a crab cake establishment?? ♀️ Had I know this, I wouldn’t have ordered it and would’ve ordered chips or just not have ordered an additional side.

Had some gfs tell me about this place & WOOOOOW sooo delicious!!!! I got the crab cake sandwich with chips and a side my side I chose was Cole slaw and it was also delicious!! I cannot recommend this place enough the crab cakes were so good and super meaty super generous with portions I’ll definitely be telling family and friends about this little hidden gem in manassas. Also tried my friend’s crab salad also amazing lol I couldn’t believe how good this place was hands down BEST CRAB CAKES in the area.

Definitely recommend Fryes to anyone who want to enjoy great crab.
Although the Manassas location dues not have seating/dining. The customer service was fantastic.
We ate our meal in the car for lunch.

I have been here a couple of times, however I went on Tuesday to purchase some crabcakes for my wife’s birthday. The customer service and atmosphere were great, however when eating the crabcakes, we bite on some shells more than one time. I understand it’s probably different to get the all the shells out. But what I paid I would expect the crabcakes to be shell free!!

Love to support small businesses, so when I stumbled upon JLCCC, I knew I had to give it a try. Definitely worth my time! With customer service being of the utmost importance, I’d be remiss to not mention the level of service I received. I was immediately greeted, given a rundown of food offerings/specials, asked if I needed assistance placing my order and had my food delivered to my car. Outstanding!
Regarding the food itself, I ordered the double crab cake platter including six hush puppies and shrimp pasta salad. The crab cakes were lightly breaded with pure jumbo lump crab meat – zero fillers. They were seasoned to perfection, and I’ll only add that I prefer it be cooked slightly longer (no deductions here). The shrimp pasta lands in my top three for best shrimp/seafood pastas – well done! The hush puppies were also great. I finished off my meal with a yummy carrot cupcake albeit I could not immediately enjoy it as it was cold/hard. It seems I received one out of the fridge but no deductions here as I stopped in minutes to them closing.
Lastly, this establishment is carry-out only, but I did briefly have time to admire the aesthetics. Super cute!
They’ve definitely gained a customer, and I’m looking forward to swinging by again next week!

We have been keeping an eye on this place for a bit and finally stopped on Monday. We ordered crab cake sandwich and crab cake platter. We both tried the potato salad and I also tried the shrimp pasta salad. We mentioned Manassas Talk and got a free order of hush puppies. All of our food tasted amazing. Don’t waste your time driving all the way to Maryland,
The place looked immaculate and the staff was very friendly and helped with entering my order. There is a small order and pick up area and a very large kitchen area. No dine-in eating. The food is so good you will probably just finish it in your car.

Hands down the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. Zero filler, just the biggest jumbo lumps of luscious crab. Ordered here for the first time tonight. Order was fulfilled with zero issues and portions are generous. As soon as I opened the pack of crab cakes, I knew they were legit. They came with a yummy sauce, but you don’t even need it. I held off from ordering for awhile because of the prices, but it was a special occasion and I can say the prices are 1000% worth it. I will definitely be back. Every bit of hype I heard about this place is well deserved.

The food was excellent, and the staff was friendly and efficient. The crab cakes are all crab – next to no filler and true jumbo lump crab!! Perfectly cooked and great flavor! The crab pretzel was bubbling hot and loaded with crab and cheese. The sides were refreshing and flavorful. The carrot cake cupcake was the perfect finish – so good!

Oh. My. Lord!!! I really didn’t feel like cooking tonight, so I told my husband we were either having crab cakes or string cheese. He chose crab cakes. Placed an order online for 5 cakes and a large side of crab salad (for lunch tomorrow). We arrived to pick up 10 minutes later and were met with a smile and a sincere “thank you” for our order. Got home, and roasted a few veggies to serve with our cakes. The crab cakes are so full of lump crab! There is very (if any) filler. The sauce is sweet and tart and wonderful. I grew up on Rappahannock Blue Crab and I am so incredibly impressed!!! I can’t wait to get back again! Do yourself a favor and swing by, they are absolutely incredible!!
