FryDay Fish was born from a deep love for good food, community, and that unmistakable Southern tradition of gathering around a fresh, hot plate of fried fish (grilled for the not so daring 🙂 We’re a local, takeout, delivery and limited seating restaurant right here in Collierville, TN off Hwy 72. We serve up crispy catfish, salmon, shrimp, & big-bone buffalo fish with delicious sides. Order online, swing by, or let us bring the fish fry to you. This place is not worth your time or money. They must be using a single at home fryer for every order. 40 minute wait for two 2 piece catfish baskets ended up being 70 minute wait. Does this look like $16 worth to you? Mac and cheese is borderline inedible. Hushpuppies are smaller than ping pong balls. The flavor on the catfish is good, but at what cost?

This was a treat. I typically am not a fan of Catfish, but this is where we ended up. We both ordered 2 pcs catfish with greens and okra. The owners warned us that the greens were the best around and guess what? He wasn’t lying. They were so good and the fish was delicious. The food was season perfectly and the portions generous. More importantly, the owners were wonderful to talk to and ask questions. I highly recommend.

OMG!!!!!! THIS PLACE, FOOD, SERVICE, ALL WAS AMAZING……The food was seasoned to perfection. I don’t know if this is family owned or what. But the man and lady that brought our food out were such humble spirits. O my goodness the food. The food was the best I’ve ever had. I had a Buffalo fish dinner and my husband had the catfish. Please try this place out!!!! Youw will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!THE MAN brought me out some greens and cornbread to taste…o my, o my, my my…delicious…….Thank you Sir, thank you Mam. I got the 2-piece basket with okra and my husband got the 3-piece with collards and cornbread. It was all cooked to perfection! We didn’t know that it was takeout only, but this was no big deal as we live not far. I definitely recommend! Will be returning.

Take out only at this location, I think. A little hard to find, cause they didn’t have a sign (yet?). Ordered fried catfish basket. Great catfish, excellent pups. Got a free slaw cause they didn’t have enough pups left to fill a side order. Slaw wasn’t mayonnaisey enough for my taste (I can eat mayonnaise with a spoon ). Recommend.
