The kids meal came with a lot of food which is awesome for my kids. I got the dill pickle sandwich and my husband got the hot Nashville chicken loaded fries. Everything tasted amazing and we will definitely be back next time for ice-cream

We LOVE this place. The fries are fantastic…sorry ate ours already so no picture. Recommend the poutine with added brisket, the Nashville hot with Sriracha honey…or feeling adventurous get the Kim Chi fries.

Lastly you cannot leave without an ice cream sundae like the glampfire or candy shoppe, or go bold with the blood orange ice cream. Recommend 100!!

What a fun place to stop at for lunch. We were in Marion and decided to try Frydae for lunch. We ordered the chilie cheese over straight cut fries and Chicken bacon ranch over tots. Both items were prepared fresh and brought to the table. We each shared the order and both were hot and tasty. Not a healthy choice for lunch but fantastic comfort food! There is inside seating and an outdoor patio area. We will be back on the future

“Crappy restaurant?” More like crappy spelling!

Let me just start by saying, if I had a dollar for every time my son and I came to this place and left with smiles on our faces, I’d have enough to buy the place and give out free shakes for life. We come here at least once a week, and not once have I had to wait “two hours” for a shake. Maybe two minutes, tops. But hey, maybe the last reviewer was using a sundial instead of a clock. ⏳

Now, let’s talk about the “very very rude staff.” You mean the same folks who greet us like family, remember my son’s favorite order, and always ask how our day’s going? Yeah. Super rude.

Also, I don’t know what kind of “roaches crawling in the kitchen” fantasyland this guy wandered into, but I’ve seen cleaner kitchens here than in some people’s houses. And pro tip: Why are you in the kitchen anyway? That’s not how restaurants work unless you’re Gordon Ramsay or completely lost.

I get it, not everyone knows how to write, express themselves, or understand how restaurants work (spoiler alert: you don’t walk into the kitchen to check things out). But don’t let one badly spelled tantrum fool you, this place is a gem, the staff is awesome, and the food is always fresh and fast.

TL;DR: If you’re reading reviews, ignore the one that sounds like it was written by a hangry toddler with a flip phone. This place rocks. End of story.

I will definitely be back. The dill pickle fries were very good and pretty cheap $7 bucks. I also got the bbq pork sandwich and the meat was good however it was supposed to come with coleslaw on it. The coleslaw was plain shredded cabbage. Not what I wanted or expected. My son got the popcorn chicken kids meal with mac and cheese. It was nothing special. There was no wait to order and the food only took about 10 minutes.

Food was decent, there’s lots of options on the menu. Overall, good price for the amount of food you get. Staff were attentive and made sure we were happy with what we ordered.

Lots of carbs and lots of cheese, so if you’re on a low carb diet or lactose intolerant be warned.

To cold today to try their selection of ice cream, we’ll try that next summer.

Small store that was loud because of a couple of small children that were excited to be there.

Okay now I see what the hype is about. Frydae does two things right – fries and ice cream. I read about this little shop in Marion in mommy blogs and knew I had to try it out. It’s not just plain fries or ice cream, there’s a whole smorgasbord of creations to delight any palette. Incredibly tasty, reasonable prices, and creamy ice cream. Okay service.

This place is the best. Such a clean, fun environment and SO many great food and ice cream options. My kids and I absolutely love it. If you’re ever in Marion make sure you stop by! Staff is always quick and friendly. They also have the best Facebook page! Keeps you up to date on any new items which I love!

Saw “Jackson’s” creative fiction review on here and thought I’d hop on to give my honest feedback of the many times we have ventured over to this awesome business. My daughter and I are celiac and Frydae always have a plethora of options for us. The ice cream always looks too beautiful to eat, but we somehow always manage. The business is always very clean and tidy even when they’re busy. We love eating in the patio area in the heart of Marion. We highly recommend!

As a snack and ice-cream parlor, this is top shelf. I can already confirm the Korean BBQ Kimchi fries are great. But this time, we split the Peanut Butter Cup sweet potato fries and they are astonishing. If you are into chocolate peanut butter anything, this is a must get for you. We also had Yellow Cake ice-cream that was spot on.

My ice-cream was Carmel Cold Brew and I am not exaggerating when I say it is the best coffee ice-cream I have had in my life.
