Small and quaint. Extremely friendly staff. The fried bread is just perfect. Light, fluffy and not greasy. The smash burger was truly chefs kiss. The burger was super juicy and it looks like a big portion, yet I left not overly stuffed. The sweet bread reminded of sopapias and beignets from cafe du monde in New Orleans. I would recommend this to smash burger lover, hot dog and pizza lover. It’s truly taking native Americans traditions to the modern cuisine.

What a hidden gem of delicious tastes!!
The venison burger will change your life! No games taste and “doughy, light, and gently sweet, perfectly balanced”
Blueberry Lemonade states like good strong fresh blueberries and the traditional lemonade was perfect in balance and flavor.
A unique menu is only matched by the talents of the chef! Pizza? Absolutely. Quahog Pizza, For sure!
Handheld Traditionas include The Factory, The Wolf, and a hope to die for Smash Burger!
My wife and I dropped by to try their exceptional Strawberry Crunch Frybread. Our only regret? We didn’t start with the meal first!!
We will be back for lunch first!!
Don’t forget to get your loyalty cards!

Okay, y’all. Let me tell you about one of the best meals I’ve had in the year of our Lady Beyonce 2025…

I had been meaning to get myself over to @frybreadindigenousfusion for a while, but with my awful schedule, I just had to admire all the delicious looking posts on social media. That is, until the Mr. and I got to go on a lunch date and experience this deliciousness. First, the vibe was friendly and felt like we were going over to the cousin’s house to eat. The food was made fresh to order and maaaaaaaan it smelled so good. We came in already hungry and ready to abandon all home training.

Mr. G ordered the smash burger cooked to perfection with a side of fries. I ordered the Pequot Frybread taco with fries and I legit was licking my fingers (which I don’t do in public). We also got to have a pepperoni pizza with the crispy edges on the pepperoni…bruh this thing was so damned good. I can’t eat cheese so I only got to sample the crust, sauce and meat…but it was a winner for sure.
If I wasn’t ordering with hunger first, I would’ve also tried the dessert and lemonades BUT that just means it’s an excuse to order takeout soon. 10/10 ⭐️

I had today off and after attending a recent Powwow and learning Fry Bread had an actual location, I had to make the drive-and I’m sure glad I did! I had the Pequot (salmon) bowl and the flavor combo was incredible! I was pleasantly surprised it was shredded salmon which mixed well with the blueberry (whaaat?) slaw (OMG!) and rice. The salmon was a little spicy (hey, I’m a wimp) but was really tasty and so fresh and the bowl even came with street corn. And just when you thought corn is corn, they somehow managed to make this corn taste even better. If I lived closer, this would be my weekly go-to meal. Still, I cannot wait to come back and start working my way through the menu-ha! The whole staff is super friendly and I felt right at home. I am honored to be able to support a local business and I wish them much success! PS – they also make Wampum jewelry so check them out!

I found this place on a whim and was excited to try it when I saw it was locally owned and operated. The atmosphere was very casual and comfortable, with art hanging on the walls.

I got to chat with the owner while I waited for my to go order, who explained to me how important it is to serve people with love and delicious food.

My food was superb. I was happy to find a vegetarian option on the menu and the sauce had incredible flavor. The frybread was fluffy and crispy and golden brown with a perfect exterior crunch.

All the ingredients tasted fresh and housemade. I sat reading a book on display inside on the origin of frybread which was delightful to learn, as I had no prior knowledge or experience.

All in all I highly recommend from the very endearing staff to the completely mouth watering meal. My hope is that they are able to move into Providence as I am confident they would be a great success.

I will be back!

My husband and I came by to try something new. It was a little busy but we were greeted by the staff right away. We asked the woman at the counter what she would suggest for us to eat. She suggested the smash burger and the Marcia sandwich, I also ordered the street corn. The food came out pretty quickly. We were not disappointed, so delicious. I would recommend frybread to others. I’ll be a returning costumer.

We ordered the forager frybread taco and frybread dippers. So so good! The frybread is delicious! Soft and doughy. So incredibly flavorful. The fries that came with the tacos were so fresh and yummy too. I’m already thinking about the next time I can go back and eat some more. I highly recommend!

I saw some recommendations for this place and it hit me right in the pregnancy cravings! So I had to check it out. I love the indigenous fusion concept. I ordered the Pequot bowl -hot honey salmon, berry slaw, rice, street corn and my fiancée ordered a cheese fry bread pizza. Everything was absolutely delicious, it tasted so fresh and flavorful. The fry bread pizza crust and cheese blend were perfection. The salmon was tender and the berry slaw paired so well with the hot honey.
They also sell beautiful quahog jewelry. The owners are absolutely lovely people. I cannot recommend it enough!

Updating my review for my third visit here:

Well, Chef Will has done it again!

I was craving something, anything, from Frybread. As I perused the menu I was struck by two of my most prominent pregnancy cravings – chicken wings & Mozambique sauce. So I placed my order, and added The Marcia chicken sandwich, because again, pregnancy cravings. I waddled myself in and picked up the food. Chef Will was friendly as always, and gave me a loyalty card, heck yeah.

Guys, the chicken wings are cooked to perfection, the chicken was moist, the crunch factor was on point, and the Mozambique sauce was quite literally finger-licking good. Baby is happily kicking away from this meal.

The Marcia- a fried chicken sando with home-made hot honey, berry slaw and tomato was likewise perfectly cooked, the hot honey and berry slaw set off a wonderful flavor combo. The fries are fine, but I’m not into most French fries anyway. The house made pickles are fab as always!

The food and service is always excellent! Stop by and take a look at the diverse menu of indigenous food options. There is something there for everyone. This is definitely a place I will continue to patronize and I have yet to be disappointed! I started with my desert a strawberry with whip cream on top of fry bread and then had the smoked salmon bowl. I added a dozen buffalo wings and split it with my friend and washed it down with a glass of strawberry lemonade and I had to stop myself from ordering more food! Don’t take my word for it just head over to fry bread and check it out for yourself!
