Got there at 10:56AM. Got the 3 tender basket Lil Insanity heat level and a cup of cheese. Eat the cheese fries first and then try to tackle all 3 tenders. They’re huge pieces of delicious chicken and the spice level is 8.5/10 Hot. Flavor 10/10 on everything. Get extra ranch. Placed the coleslaw appropriately in the garbage where it belongs.

This place is great. With all the chicken places around here this is the best! The Nashville and spicy butter butter sandwiches are my favorite. Great french fries and pickles. The kids love the Mac and Cheese! Cool Decor friendly staff. Owner Joe seems like a genuine guy. Support this local chain over the big chains that don’t strive to be better.

Big Fry the Coop fan. Been going since the location at the food hall in the loop pre covid. Have visited nearly all of the locations. Super disappointed in my food today from Joliet. Got all the way home and took a bite of the wrap to notice it was not cooked.

This was the first time at Fry the Coop restaurant. I ordered two Nashville original sandwiches, one mild for my wife and one Insanity for myself, with two orders of House fries and fountain drinks, also ordered The tender flight to try all of the flavors and sauce. The service was friendly and welcoming. The chicken tenders and chicken in the sandwiches was juicy and flavorful, the rustic cut fries cooked in beef tallow was tasty. The house Coop sauce was a elevated sweeted Big Mac or thousand island dressing and the spicy butter was okay, would probably be better if butter was on the brioche bun. The lil insanity flavor was a good spice level but could be hotter for those who enjoy spicy food like myself. The cups for the $2(each) fountain drinks have a very flimsy structure to them and can leak from the top of them when tilted slightly but they are unlimited refills. It was a upbeat atmosphere with memorabilia from 1950s – 1980s. The overall experience was enjoyable.

I’ve now gotten the 3 piece tender plate twice and both times it’s been fantastic. The tenders are big and perfectly cooked and seasoned.
And the crew has been friendly, helpful and patient the first time I went, and again last night when we were trying to decide what to get.

I love fry the coop! My go to spot for Nashville chicken. I had such a great experience at this location! Customer service was top notch, very welcoming, I did not feel rushed at all when deciding what I wanted to order.
The food as usual was absolutely delicious! My husband and I split a sandwich and tried the smack wrap super yummy!

WARNING! Big gap in heat level between Medium and Hot! You have been warned lol……… I tried medium a couple weeks ago and it wasn’t very spicy, so this time I ordered it Hot. Blast off! Could only eat half and still suffered. I cant imagine wanting to eat the two other levels of heat above hot; unless you are just in it for the pepper buzz.
