This food cart is a rare gem that feels like a time machine. Are you’re tired of ‘shrinkflation’ and bland corporate food? or getting ripped off with tiny bullshit servings for 20 bucks? come here!
The Portions: It’s a total throwback to the 90s/pre-Covid era. The quantities are massive and the value for your money is unbeatable. The plate is so beautifully arranged I almost didn’t want to ruin it by eating… almost.
The Jumbo Shrimp: These were deep-fried to perfection—succulent, huge, and made my taste buds scream with joy. He even includes a big, fat giant wedge of lemon, not one of those pathetic tiny slices you get everywhere else.
The Fries: This is where he really wins. Most chains (BK, McDonald’s) and ‘family dining’ spots like Applebee’s serve garbage fries now—bland, hollow, and way too crunchy. These were classic julienne style, but managed to be incredibly delicious and nostalgic. They actually taste like a potato should.
The Sides: It comes with coleslaw. I’ve never been a fan of slaw in my life, but on a platter this well-executed, it’s a great addition.
High-quality food, old-school portions, and better flavor than any of the big corporate names. Support this guy!

What a great place! I’ve had the fish and chips, the chicken strips, and the spicy chicken sandwich. Everything was super tasty, he makes all the sauces from scratch. I am addicted to the garlic parm sauce, it’s balanced perfectly. I think it’s the best choice for fish and chips in Hillsboro! I will be back! #Supportlocal

I gave this place a try and had the Cod basket. Fish was fried a little past golden brown, but still had a good taste. It was 2 pieces of Cod, even though the picture on the truck showed 4. Slaw is very good and was a good complement to the fish. Fries were wedges, and cook just right. They could have added more of the tarter sauce and dipping sauce for the fries. Overall I was pretty happy. It was a bit pricy, but then it was a food truck in Oregon.

I ordered the two piece cod, fish, and chips and a side order of four shrimp. The fish was very salty, and the fries were not fries. They were Jojo’s. My order was to go, so I didn’t realize that he did not give me fries until I got back to work.
My two pieces of fish were over battered and very greasy. I won’t eat here again. And if you’re going to substitute something out, politely let the customer know what you’re doing.

I love the atmosphere this brand new food cart brings to one of my favorite lunch spots! I got to meet the owner and his son who independently run it and the conversation we had made my day. The food itself was also immaculate and delivered in a quick manner. The chicken was fried perfectly and had an amazing crunch, they definitely speak true to their name. 10/10 would recommend and ill be going again!

Gentleman working was super friendly. The quantity of food for the price was great, 8 large wings and fries for $16. The only downside was the lemon pepper was more like lemon and salt, I enjoy salty food but this was even too much for me….with that being said I did eat it all. Just had to get a second beer
