This newly-opened, modern third space is very clean and spacious. The furniture and decor are high quality and purposeful.
The lattes are artistically crafted with locally roasted beans. They offer muffins that are very rich in taste, while also being gluten free and dairy free. The baristas were very inviting and accommodating. The culture of the cafe is inclusive and welcoming. It is a not only a cafe, but a place to lounge and talk with friends, play a game, or work on your laptop.

Visited Frunchroom Collective for the first time today during their grand opening. The atmosphere is homey and inviting with plenty of seating to enjoy a cup of coffee, eat a pastry, socialize, or get some work done.

They have a wide array of pastries to enjoy and offer a standard selection of coffees. We got a Mrs Nitti’s cookie latte (which even came with a cute bit size cookie on the side!) and a brown sugar cinnamon latte which were both great, a tad on the sweeter side.

Best coffee shop in the southern part of Libertyville/Vernon Hills area! The staff is always super welcoming and has done a great job with my oat caramel lattes and cortados. I love the contemporary, but homey feel of the place and they have small themed rooms you can reserve if you want to sit and watch sports in the sports room or get some friends together to play board or card games in parlor! The tables and chairs are all super comfortable as well and the prices aren’t crazy. The Frunchroom is now my go to coffee shop in the area!!

Love this new coffee place that is in the Red Top area near the old bakers square! My wife and I tried it for the first time and had a very nice coffee date together. I loved their cold brew, and my wife loved their Matcha! The place has very warm and welcoming vibes, the staff are so nice and friendly! The wifi works great, we highly recommend coming and checking this place out!

This new coffee shop/hangout spot is great! The brown sugar cinnamon latte was delicious. Easy to find a spot to work for a few hours (lots of outlets for your laptop) with cozy, friendly vibes. The staff is super nice as well.

My only suggestion would be sandwiches or other light food available to order!

Large and cozy space. Ordered their cold brew and cookie latte (with oat milk), which are both fantastic. Their jalapeno and everything scones are delicious, as well as the raspberry bar. The staff was attentive and friendly; I’ve already recommended this spot to other people 🙂

Nice looking spot, spacious. Coffee was mid, flavor wise. Could have been just what I ordered, cold brew with milk and vanilla syrup, but it tasted a bit watered down and little to acidic for my preference. Berry smoothie was pretty good though. I would give it a second chance, maybe trying the regular coffee instead of cold brew.

This is a such a HUGE coffee shop. It’s the vibe and offers an amazing selection of drinks, food and gluten-free options! They have a variety of seating and are already working on getting it to be more family friendly (hopefully installing changing tables and getting high chairs soon). Everyone was so friendly and we will be coming back. Thank you for an wonderful experience.

My boyfriend and I were excited to try this new coffee shop since we’re locals and love supporting small businesses. The atmosphere was adorable, with plenty of seating and a lot of potential. Unfortunately, they seemed a bit too new and lacked proper organization. There wasn’t a system for calling out orders, no names or numbers, which might work if it weren’t busy. However, once a line formed, it became confusing since many of the drinks looked similar and could easily be mistaken for someone else’s.

We realized something was wrong when a couple who ordered behind us received their to-go order, along with several other customers, while we were still waiting. My boyfriend politely checked in with the baristas. One staff member (wearing glasses) was very kind and attentive, but another (with a ponytail) was dismissive and rude. He explained that we believed someone may have taken our order by mistake. The barista with the ponytail insisted it was still coming up, even as more customers after us continued receiving their drinks.

Once they realized the error, the kind barista apologized and quickly remade our order. However, the other staff member never acknowledged the mistake or apologized and continued to glare at us, which felt uncomfortable. We understand that new businesses can be busy and still working out the kinks, so we tried to be patient. Still, the interaction was disappointing.

Overall, the coffee itself was mediocre, and while the experience was okay, it could have been much better. I hope they implement a clearer order system to prevent confusion in the future and encourage their staff to be more attentive and respectful to customers.
