Sometimes by a core staff member, other times by a neighbor in recovery or young person in an addiction prevention program. Both groups of students participate in our Nationally Certified American Culinary Federation Quality Training Program & Farm-to-Table Café and Bakery. Each time you visit Fruits of Labor, your purchase invests in our students and allows us to offer this training and certification free of charge. PROVIDING HOPE We believe people can recover from addiction. But they need a safe place for that to happen and job skills in a vibrant profession. Your purchases support our wholistic approach.

1st time visiting, and I’m sorry I waited so long! A beautiful place to visit and enjoy an artistically and delicious meal! The awesome ladies who served us were super kind and delightful! Who does that these days?! So great. There were 4 at our table, the salads were fresh, the hot dogs were like nothing I’ve ever seen! The buns were super good and tasty! The chicken salad on a buttery croissant was top notch. Overall a 5 star experience! Just what Beckley needs! Thankful for this place and what they are doing here. Also we love the fresh baked goods available to purchase, including coffees, teas, and local syrups. Ecclesiastes 3:11 !

Fruits of labor cafe has the best coffee in town! Whether it’s lattes, frappes or just a simple coffee you will never be disappointed! Their quality & taste is better than your popular food chains such as Starbucks & dunkin while their pricing is much more reasonable. We went with a group of 16 and the staff was very kind and accommodating. It was easy to work with them over the phone to place a reservation, service was great, and lunch was delicious. The Italian grilled cheese was very fresh and filling and the special leek and potato soup was amazing. The front of house staff were efficient, accurate and warm. It’s definitely going to become one of my go to lunch spots in Beckley. I recommend it to anyone!

Highly recommend you give this place a try. Took my family from SC to share local cuisine and we were not disappointed. I had the House Signature Salad which was delicious, my husband had the Blue Burger and loved it. We were all impressed with the food , service, and desserts that we took to go!! Generous portions at excellent prices. Definitely going back and plan to try the pizzeria soon.
