Frothy Monkey is an independently owned all day cafe, specialty coffee roaster, and local favorite. Frothy serves breakfast, brunch every day until 5pm, lunch, and dinner with beverage offerings including coffee as well as craft beer, wine + cocktails. One of the best breakfast or brunch options in town. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our son recommended this place and it definitely met the expectations. Highly recommend the Golden Monkey latte and veggie grazing board. Will back to try more options next time. Their menu has something for everyone to start your day right.

Got here early, about 7:30am. Had coffee and a salmon arugula salad which was enjoyable. Service was great until it got busy. I just waited 20 minutes for a chai to go, was put in a mug anyways and it tastes like slightly chai flavored milk. Sweet. I finally was able to leave at 8:50am.
One guy behind the espresso bar is probably not sufficient for serving an entire full service cafe.

We kicked off our first day in Nashville with a visit to Frothy Monkey, and it was the perfect start. The chicken salad sandwich was fresh and flavorful, and the breakfast bagel was just right. OMG the Hoff’s hot sauce was fire!!! The golden monkey latte had such good flavor, exactly what I wanted. But the best part of the experience was the service—genuinely warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The space is beautiful, and the neighborhood adds to the charm. We’ll definitely be back.

I would recommend another location. Our waitress was very unpleasant. She was not friendly at all and seemed to be bothered that we were even there. We put our food and drink in at the same time and she brought the wrong coffee drink but I was unable to get the correct one because she never came back to check on us/refill our waters, just to drop the check. The food was decent. I’ve been to another location and had an amazing experience so I’ll just return to that one. I work in the service industry so I understand stuff happens but this was very off putting.

Found this café completely by accident, and I’m so glad I did. The food was absolutely delicious—everything was full of flavor and clearly made with care. One standout was the French toast—perfectly cooked, not too sweet, and easily one of the best I’ve had in a long time.
Everything came out hot and right on time, and the service was excellent. Our server, Aiden, was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home.
If you’re in the area, definitely stop by—and don’t leave without trying the French toast!

I have had a few business breakfast/brunch meals here and this is a great place to meet. Not to pricey by East Nashville standards, the coffee is great, and the egg dishes were very good. You can sit inside or out, the wait has never been very long (although they are steadily busy) and service has always been great. Parking can be a bit dicey (it is East Nashville) but at worst you may have to walk a bit. Quiet enough to have a good conversation and the staff does not rush you.

We arrived at the cafe after wandering around in the East Nashville. It was like 7pm so there were few customers who were reading books, just relaxing and chatting with friends. We ordered Turtle latte and Havana latte. Both were really good and the staff were so friendly and gave us great service. I’m happy to find good cafe to relax and would like to go back again.
