Frosty Treat is the third oldest dairy bar in Arkansas. Doing it the old fashioned way since 1951. Serving frozen treats and tasty eats.
Soft serve ice cream, shakes, malts, sundaes and banana splits. Cheeseburgers, steak, Chicken and pork loin sandwiches, corn dogs, fries, tots, and onion rings. A little something for everyone to enjoy!

It’s very nostalgic with its old time music playing in the background, I choose to sit outside on beautiful days at there multiple tables, but you can eat in the car on rainy days. The food is amazing, and the price is even better. My favorites are the mushroom Swiss burger, onion rings, of course the ice cream “butterscotch milkshake”, and lastly the pineapple lemonade! Like I said it’s better than all the fast food places in my opinion and the prices are awesome.

So surprised by the quality and amount of food! Mushroom swiss burger was delicious and huge! Patty was thick and well grilled. Could use a bit of salt, but they included plenty of packets in the bag. Chicken tenders were tasty and moist. The seasoned fries were the best. The nachos were typical movie theater nachos, but that’s not surprising giving the price. They don’t skimp on the food and you can’t go wrong with a good burger! Strawberry shakes were the perfect dessert. We were the only customers when we arrived around 4:00 pm. Limited seating in front of the ordering windows, but plenty of parking.

I love a good dairy bar, and when I saw this one I knew I had to give it a try. I ordered a cheese burger, onion rings and small butterscotch milk shake. The total came up to $17.48. Which is normal for a dairy bar! Now the service was great. They were super nice, and helpful. The milk shake was great, and the onion rings we okay. I was most excited to try the burger. I hate to say it let me down. It could be “fire”, but it was not. If they would toast the bun a little with some butter. Season the burger patty a little that burger would SMASH!!!!!!!!!

I stopped here for lunch during work at the 3rd oldest dairy bar in Arkansas! I was able to get food fast enough to have time to eat and enjoy the rest of my 45 minute break. I have no idea where they get the pulled pork but it was delicious and high quality! It is properly smoked pork. I was hoping to get the waffle fries too but they didn’t have those for the special- I don’t believe they normally have those but it’s nice to know that they run special meal offers from time to time. There were plenty of other choices though. The food is quick, quality, and served fast. Not too fast though! Sometimes food served fast isn’t very good but this was delicious. I will be going back.

I can make a burger just as well as this place. $24.74 for a single cheeseburger with fries and a drink and a double cheeseburger with tots. Great service and atmosphere just not as good as burgers I get from Mel’s diner and Greg’s rise and shine diner! I am curious to try their ice cream treats! Will update when I try

My first time ordering something other than a shake. I had a cheeseburger, onion rings, and tea. The burger was great and the onion rings were exceptional.(I’m picky about my OR’s). Unfortunately I usually can only eat a few at a time because they don’t always sit well with me (too greasy), nice to say these did not have the usual effect. No issues at all. Service was fast and friendly. I’ll be back.

Closing early for a Christmas party five days before Christmas (without staffing arrangements to remain open) is incredibly disappointing, especially for a tourist location. Many people plan trips, spend money on gas, and arrange their schedules based on your posted business hours. When those aren’t honored, it wastes people’s time and money. Because of this experience, I’ll be discouraging others from visiting so they don’t end up in the same frustrating situation.

It was a beautiful spring day. The Frosty Treat appeared on my right on my way toward Little Rock, leaving Hot Springs.
A hot fudge sundae with whipped cream and nuts along with a small root beer is what I ordered. Next time, I’ll try the food.
The woman was nice when taking my order.
A picnic table among many others along with umbrellas were available out front, which was a nice place to enjoy the view of the traffic and mountain by the tower.
