Recently moved to Clinton from Tecumseh and have tried this place about 4-6 times now. Ice cream wasn’t great at 1st but has improved and prices are pretty decent! Service could definitely use some work! There were 2 people working last time we went there and they clearly couldn’t communicate correctly. We ordered a lemon custard and received orange dole whip. We also placed a 2nd order after we finished our ice cream so we could take home some of the hard dipped ice cream for family to try. We asked for the 3 scoops to be put in a larger container with a lid since we were taking it home. The girl taking the order said sure but we received them in regular cups with spoons and no lids. When I explained we had asked for it to be put in something larger (like a sundae cup) so we could close it, she said they didn’t have lids for those containers. Plus, the 3 scoops we paid for were pretty skimpy if you ask me. Also, between the 2 orders we placed, 4-5 other people had placed orders and at least 2 of them had something that had to be remade due to it being incorrect so everyone seemed to be feeling the lack of customer service that day.

The small reeses pieces sundae. I also had the Coney Dog special. Both were reasonably priced. The dog was thick and beefy with a hearty helping of chili and cheese. The server was a hoot.

You need to change your google times you weren’t even open!
You must have just changed that after my review because it definitely said open with hours. If you would have owned up to the mistake and said oh sorry about that now winter hours are correct on Google it would have went from 1 star to 5 but don’t tell a customer they are wrong when you know you just changed it

I had to stop by I do not go through Clinton too often but it’s right next to the River Raisen that I kayak. Ordered two slushes and they were fantastic. As simple as they are to make they had a good amount of flavor and were perfect for a warm spring day. Fairly easy to park or find a spot. Larger vehicles can park on the berm across the street which helps if you have a trailer

Small and nice place to hangout with friends and family. We ordered Ice creams, fries and chicken popcorn. The place is so clean and the staff are really helpful. Lot of open spaces available for parking and to sit and enjoy food. It’s so nice to meet ppl from the local and this place is right there on the US 12.

I went there this past Wednesday and it was terrible. All their stock was out. My fiancée ordered the coney special and I ordered a coney and fries. Was told that they had no water left, then they were also out of ketchup. Then after paying and waiting for the coney’s, was told that the chili was still frozen. So they gave us 2 hotdogs and the buns were so stale they were crumbling in half lol on a good note they gave me a soft serve twist to make up the difference in cost of the chili dogs, there wasn’t any aunts that I noticed in my ice cream

I can always count on getting a special treat at Frosty Joey’s, no matter what I am in the mood for. The prices are another incentive for trying varied items on the menu. I sincerely appreciate having them around. Thanks everyone for your hard work!

It’s a great disappointment that this place is in the current state that it is. I grew up going here, after every soccer and tball game as a kid, shoot, old Joey even had my tball trading card picture that they used to give the kiddos taped up at the counter. It used to be a great place with nice people, quality food, and management that did seem to care. That is not the case anymore.
This place is filthy and disgusting. The health department was recently called at this location for not addressing bugs and live creatures in their products. They are now positively review bombing with alt accounts in an attempt to save face. Shame on this company! Someone needs to report them to the BBB.

I just went to frosty Joey and the service was very poorly by an older lady. They got our order fully wrong and had to ask us what we ordered many times but still got it wrong. after we went up to the window to check our order and ask why they gave us an ice cream that we didn’t ask for in charge us for it. They gave us a lot of attitude.The ice cream really wasn’t that great you could get it anywhere. The old lady that was working on father’s day at 4:30 needs to be fired.

Please don’t eat here. They were made aware of bugs in the ice cream and ignored it until the health department was contacted. They still didn’t clean the slushy machine and left dead ants in it. It’s unsanitary and they don’t give the tips to the employees. Please support an ETHICAL company instead
