Just tried them for the first time! Food quality and taste was superb! The Sloppy Joe, came nice and hot and filled up nicely! Absolutely the best one I’ve ever had. Delicious! Pork tenderloin sandwiches are huge too! Also good! Cooked nicely with a good crunch and easy to eat! Most places taste like cardboard or overcook. So this was a pleasant surprise with taste and quality. Perfect. Definitely will be ordering again!

My family & I stopped off at this place to get some ice cream. It was our first time there. The service was a bit slow (new employees), but the ice cream was delish! I got a scoop of the salted caramel brownie batter & let me tell you, I think it’s my new favorite flavor! My husband got a Hawaiian specialty sundae (pictured) & our boys got a hot fudge shake & a medium (2 scoop) ice cream cone. It was a beautiful day & they were busy. Although the service was slow, the employees were courteous & did their best. They serve hot food until 8pm & they also sell merchandise such as t-shirts & keychains! My husband ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich & from what I could tell, he enjoyed it. We would stop here again.

Frosty boy is one of my favorite spots! We love the food, the ice cream and all the weekly fun shakes and different twists on “the good stuff”. The events are fun too! Sometimes we have to wait a little bit, which we do not mind because we know everything is being made fresh and will be delicious when it gets to us. There are also times if there’s a long line I just opt to go another day. The service is normally great. I don’t know if my favorite part about this business is the food or that the owner is very involved in donating to all things town related. Though it may be that she employs teenagers where this is their first job!

I’ve been going to Frosty Boy since I was a kid growing up in Trail Creek. Jessica and us kids would go all the time. So happy to see her running the place and doing a great job at it! We stopped in today for the pie flurries (pumpkin and blueberry) and it did not disappoint! Keep up the great work! 10/10 will continue to recommend

My husband went to frosty boy on Friday October 17th 2025 in the afternoon about 3:30 give or take. He ordered a banana split and some food, the food was ok, but the banana split was pathetic…whoever made it, has NO IDEA what they are doing OR they are just cheap OR they could careless! So for the person that made this HERE IS HOW YOU MAKE IT…1. YOU CUT A BANANA IN HALF THE LONG WAY, which you got right 2. YOU PUT THREE SCOOPS OF ICE CREAM, TWO VANILLA, ONE ON EACH SIDE OF THE CHOCOLATE which you got right. 3. You put the cut banana (2 pieces), FACING INTO THE ICE CREAM, ONE ON EACH SIDE, Which you got wrong, the cut side DOES NOT face out it faces twords the ice cream. 4. You put CHOCOLATE SAUCE ON THE CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM, where was it? If there was any it was such a tiny amount you couldn’t see it or taste it. 5. You put strawberry sauce that has actual STRAWBERRY PIECES IN A SAUCE, there were 3 tiny pieces of strawberry but no sauce… again where was it? because there was no sauce. 6. You put PINEAPPLE SAUCE ON THE LAST SCOOP OF VANILLA ICE CREAM…There was NO PINEAPPLE IN A SAUCE AND NO CRUSHED PINEAPPLE AT ALL, JUST A LUMP OF VANILLA ICE CREAM….YOU DID HOWEVER MANAGE TO ADD THE SMALLEST AMOUNT OF WHIPPED CREAM AND PECANS INSTEAD OF PEANUTS because my husband knows I don’t like peanuts. This Banana split was the most pathetic thing I have ever had and the price was absolutely ridiculous! The person who made this should find another calling because the ice cream buisness is NOT for them…it’s either that, or the OWNERS or managers told them to make them as CHEAP AS THEY CAN to save themselves money…Now, I ordered a banana split from FROSTY BOY THAT USED TO BE IN A WHITE STYROFOAM CONTAINER, AND THAT WAS MADE PERFECT, A FEW YEARS BACK. THIS CONTAINER IS NOW PLASTIC AND COSTS MORE…SKIMP ON PRODUCT TO AFFORD PLASTIC? …ya, that rarely works. Usually when I see this, it means the buisness is going down hill because they are going the cheap way instead of making the products better or putting them back to what they once were. After reading the other low reviews, seems like frost boy is trending in downward spiral. We personally will not go back, because I KNOW HOW TO MAKE A BANANA SPLIT the RIGHT WAY, so I will make them myself. Sad!….PS, PLEASE don’t embarass yourself by leaving a comment…there is NO reason for this and you already know that…Unless of course, you intend to apologize….which in the other reviews the OWNER blames the customer for EVERYTHING that is wrong. Side note, I shouldn’t have to call or run back to the store with ice cream from laporte because your people don’t know what they are doing, IT’S YOUR JOB to correct them and if you choose not to then your buisness fails, again that is your problem. If you leave “kids” to run your buisness with out supervision and take their side… as you seem to in most of your low reviews… then expect people to not return or call you with their issue.

A summer staple for my family! We love getting ice cream and cruising down Lake shore drive.. the peanut butter pie ice cream and Chicago dog is my favorite. This establishment employs the youth of our town and they all do a great job!!!

Edit: We arrived with only one car ahead of us. After waiting behind that car for an extended time with no movement, the driver turned their car off. We realized it was going to be a very long wait, so we left without being served. At no point were we informed of the delay or offered an alternative. Unfortunately, we never got to try the ice cream. The prices made me hesitant to order as it was.
The owner states we could have used the walk up but as we drove off there was a woman that had done that while we were at the drive through and didn’t look pleased.
Also it was very hot out, the whole point of using a drive through. Perhaps if there is going to be a wait, a curtesy of informing drivers that it will be a moment instead of leaving them to guess would be helpful.

This ice cream was a delight! We stopped in the way back from the beach for the first time and was very pleased! They had a lemon ice cream that was wonderful and my absolute favorite blueberry cheesecake! Lots and lots on the menu, so id you hungry you can find anything to eat here. 3 big tables with umbrellas to keep the sun down a bit. Just a nice experience with excellent ice cream. This will be our ice cream spot every time now!

Frosty boy’s ice cream is always consistently excellent. Their service is delivered with a smile and they have a great selection of flavored options. Or the zebra cone (chocolate and vanilla switl) is a solid options too. Hopefully you can get there for a Haloween or Chirstmas pop up!
