I’m very disappointed with our experience here. Prior to arriving, I called on 2/28 at about 5pm ahead and was explicitly told that reservations were not required. Based on that, I decided to surprise my wife and bring her out for an evening with live music.
When we arrived, we were greeted by a very rude individual at the door who immediately said we should have made reservations. He then used a microphone to ask someone inside if they could “accommodate two people,” making the situation awkward and uncomfortable. We were told, “We’ll do our best,” which did not feel welcoming at all.
While waiting, I briefly looked through the curtains to see inside and was sharply told, “You can’t do that—you have to wait over here.” The tone and attitude were nasty, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary.
This was not the kind of experience you expect when you’re simply trying to enjoy a night out. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place, as no guest should be made to feel uncomfortable or unwelcome—especially after being given incorrect information over the phone.
The good news?
We walked two blocks and had an amazing evening at Lula.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine smiles, incredible energy, fun music, and outstanding service. The vibe was warm, inviting, and exactly what a night out should feel like.
⭐ Highly recommend Lula — great music, great atmosphere, and an amazing staff who truly understand hospitality.

A Unique Experience for Special Occasions at the Frost Bar

I recently visited the frost bar for a date, and it was a memorable experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was unique and set the stage for a special evening. The ambiance was cool and distinct, making it a perfect venue for a more intimate or special night out. The cocktails were a standout—creative, flavorful, and expertly crafted. Each drink was a work of art, and they truly elevated the experience.

The highlight of the evening, however, was the mushroom soup. Rich, creamy, and full of flavor, it was easily a 10/10. It’s a must-try for anyone visiting!

The only downside I’d mention is the tight space between tables, which made the place feel a little cramped at times. However, the friendly and attentive staff made up for it, creating an inviting and pleasant atmosphere despite the limited space.

All in all, the frost bar is a fantastic choice for a special evening, offering delicious food, inventive cocktails, and a unique setting. If you’re looking for a place that offers something out of the ordinary for a special event or celebration, this is definitely a spot to consider. I’ll certainly be returning!

Fantastic experience. Felt like a very chic, jazz club vibe with live music and a cozy ambiance. Drinks were creative and delicious, and a broad cross-section of spirit-forward and fun. Broad tapas menu, with various crostini and slider options, some Mediterranean fare, a few vegetarian options. Good sharing options for our table of four. Smaller list of entree options, but the food was very good.

Overall an excellent new (to us) option in Doylestown and we will 100% be back.

Food is mediocre, especially for the price. Drinks were good but are over priced. While our server was good enough. Perhaps, he only has the menu to work with, and it’s ok at best. Not very imaginative, and definitely doesn’t taste wholesome. Sometimes they have good entertainment (like the electric violin), and sometimes not (the piano was a downer). The the concept is a good idea, but execution is lacking.

Went in there with my girlfriend for a price fix meal … Nice enough looking place but once we ordered our meal things went downhill. One of the items on the price fix menu was a salad. Only one entry for the salad. This salad had shrimp which I personally don’t eat, so I asked that they give my shrimp to my girlfriend on her salad. When the salad came out, no shrimp. When I asked why she was not given my shrimp, the owner came to me and said that I ordered the vegetarian salad, not an option on the menu by the way. So I said well now I’d want my shrimp can you bring it to me and he said that’s not what I ordered. So for the price of three shrimp, I already knew I would never go back there. $110 per person I think they can afford three shrimp. Food was okay, not stellar but we did leave hungry and for that price in Doylestown that shouldn’t happen.

Had one shot which was pretty expensive, would have drank more but after the shrimp incident we decided not to spend another dollar. I won’t be returning. They don’t seem to understand customer service at this restaurant.

If you do decide to go in the future, make sure you’re careful about any live entertainment. We were under the impression that we would be able to stay for the show that was happening at 6:30 but since we had an early reservation we were told we could not stay. When we made the reservation there was an option to check that we wanted to attend this and we were able to make that check on the software. Bottom line we spend our Valentine’s Day angry about shrimp and disappointed we couldn’t see a show we were expecting.

4 people for dinner including gratuity was $561. We like to go out quite a bit and all over the Philadelphia area. $23 for an espresso martini an $23 for Belvedere martini is outrageous for Doylestown borough. $19 for a tequila and club soda. The food was good, the band was very good. The atmosphere decent. Food prices reasonable. Drink prices are borderline criminal. $23 in Doylestown borough for a martini is a joke especially when it’s not full to the rim. Do better for that price. I can afford it, but I don’t like being completely gouged. I call this experience a “one and done”.

I wanted to dislike this place for being too “New York”. This is Bucks County after all. I went for dinner and it completely changed my opinion! Delicious entrees, tasty cocktails and an intimate ambiance with fantastic live music convinced me that this place is a breath of fresh air in the local restaurant scene. The braised short rib was cooked well and the portions were generous. My only complaint is the price of the drinks, but for the entertainment, it was worth paying a bit more. The small plates are also a treat, with a large selection to choose from. What a pleasant surprise, I only wish the restaurant were larger!

My girlfriends and I had a fantastic evening at Frost! The drinks were amazingly delicious and the selections were outstanding. They were like works of art! We dined on a variety of appetizers and they were freshly made and excellent quality and taste. The best part was the great service we received and the warm and welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be returning to Frost in the near future!

Finally an upscale feel and amazing drinks and small plates that doesn’t feel pretentious!
It’s a bit smaller than we expected, but perfect for an intimate evening with great balanced craft cocktails and just the right price small plates. Our server, Dominique, made everything perfect. We’ll definitely be back!
