This place is legit. As someone from California, I always lament about how hard it is to find good Mexican food in New England. But tonight, I was treated to an incredible experience!
My partner and I first happened to drive past and it smelled so good that it inspired us to give it a try. When we went inside, the decor was warm and colorful and beautiful and the staff was equally warm and inviting (something that often feels hard to come by in CT!). The chips were warm and fresh and the salsa tasted authentic and delicious – the kind that makes you want to drink it! I got a chicken chimichanga and was not disappointed. My partner loved their enchilada. And the tableside guac was equally fresh with delightfully huge proportions!
At the end, I loved the salsa so much that I asked for a to-go container to take it home. They immediately obliged and even gave me some extra to take with me You made my whole night, Frontera!! We can’t wait to come back!

The fresh food is truly delicious, offering a rich flavor that is a delight to the palate, as one would expect from an exceptional meal. The tableside guacamole is particularly outstanding and highly recommended.

We’ve been coming here for years while in the area. One of our frequent stops that delivers a warm family welcome with smiles. Seems to me that it’s family managed and consistent in delivering a pleasant dining experience no matter what time of day we arrive.
We tend to always sit in the bar area and knowing the lay of the land we make sure that our bartender/host is none other than Juan. We look for him as we know there will be attention and consistency in service and quality of the menu experience.
Fortunately for us all the staff here has been very good, even when we have requested our own particular reasonable twist to an existing food order (we were there yesterday Saturday April 12th at 3pm).
We enjoy this restaurant and the ambiance. They still prepare the guacamole in person at your table, a nice additional culinary gesture.

Beautiful place! Definitely would recommend. My first time dining here, and it was pretty good. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and seated. It wasn’t crowded, but there were a good amount of people inside. Upon being seated, we were served chips and salsa, and they were so good. We sat for a while before the waiter came to take our orders, nice young man. We got piña coloda, henny margaritas and apple juice, the drinks were on point! For dinner, we got chicken fajitas, chicken tacos, fries, and rice. The food was very good, however, it was more on the cold side, and that’s the reason for the four stars. I would definitely visit again.

We loved the restaurant the minute we walked in. The atmosphere was awesome, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. It was packed, but they were very quick and efficient getting the tables cleaned up and the next party seated right away. As soon as we sat down, we were given delicious chips and salsa. The hostess greeted us right away, and while we were waiting for our drinks, they rolled over with a portable fresh guacamole station, which added to the awesome service. The menu was lengthy and had so many choices it all sounded so good. Our food came hot and smelled delicious. Unfortunately my daughter got the arroz with salmon and it was extremely fishy. She picked at it but she took most home. My food was delicious, yet the rice wasn’t the best it was kind of lacking. My husband’s food was great, but again, he didn’t love the rice. All in all, we would definitely recommend for others to try, and if in the area, we would stop again but wouldn’t go out of our way to get there. Thank you to all the staff for the great service it was still a great meal.

Loved the ambience, the Fajita Texana and Coconut Margarita was delicious everyone in our company seemed to enjoy thier dinner as well. Our waiter was attentive, and prompt. Music wasn’t too loud, so you could actually listen to it. Overall great experience

Elegant food with a very festive space! Home cooked style foods with my personal request salad/ chutney. Some mild mishaps that simply reminded me of foreign cultural blips ( fun,fun). By the time we (2) were done 100$ … didn’t get pics of dessert yet worth my nickle!
