Great dining experience. Waitress was great and attentive, and food was delicious. Everything we ordered was seasoned perfectly, from the guacamole dip to the cochinita pibil. I forgot to ask to have the salad dressing on the side but it wasn’t an issue. Salad was dressed lightly and it was perfect! Waitress recommended the side of corn and that was also delicious. Overall a great lunch!

Sadly disappointed. From outside everything looked pretty good. We had a 7pm reservation. We get there about 20 minutes early but they did get us in at 7pm. They set us in the very front section. This section feels like a food court. We had a table that had a chair and then a booth seat that ran the length of the wall on the opposite side. Ended up with a child using the booth right next to me as a trampoline. And a child next to that who managed to knock over a few things and knocked the booster seat off of the booth seat as well. It was constant and the parents nor any staff did anything about it. Then the highlight of the night came as the guacamole was outstanding and that’s where the two stars come from. My pork belly tacos were a tiny portion and all fat at that. My wife got the chicken enchiladas. She took a bite and said there was something wrong. I tasted them and it was as if there was way too much lime and salt. Almost as if there were some accident in the kitchen. Because of the kids play area on our bench, we were ready to go. The waitress saw that my wife had not eaten hers at all and asked if she wanted a togo box. I stated an emphatic no. She asked nothing about the food that was not eaten. A horrible $85 wasted. I know Disney has kids but when I am eating at a restaurant like this I would have expected someone to at least make an effort to calm them down. Also I would have expected the server to be interested in why the meal had only two small tastes taken out of it and we did not want to take it. Would like to give this restaurant another shot but I would never sit in the front section again and would probably ask for the patio. Beautiful interior though.

Long awaited… To try Rick Bayless’s cuisine… and it met some expectations.. Some things are just not in his control.
Atmosphere… this place is LOUD… and its not the music. Whomever designed the acoustics to this place.. failed. You can barely here yourself talk in there.. Let alone the waiter/tress… My experience was a Friday night 7pm reservations. Decor is nice… luxury look with cultural Spanish decor. Nice.
Food… some portions yes SMALL… some plentiful.
The Spicy Mango-Habanero Chicken… excellent… good portion…almost for two! Tasty plate. It says Habanero… but its a light ping of it… if you are not a SPICY fan… this can still be handled.
The Cochinita Pibil (pork belly) TACOS… that was appetizer level portion IF THAT! Bruh! THE LIME covered most of the pork. For 28 i expect at LEAST another 2 ounces. The taste is great. Don’t be shy with it. Cook the tortillas slightly more… they mostly all broke when pulled apart.
Drinks… Chill with the obnoxious ICE in the cup… and the cups are small… so the ICE hits your mouth and makes it hard to drink. Your drinks are good… but the presentation is missing. I didn’t pay 20 dollars for ICE.
Your GUAC… Fully Dressed…. very nice.. the bacon was not crispy… but overall… nicely done. quality and price were pretty much spot on for this plate. thank you.
I tried it… i’m content… can’t say i’m itching to come back.

We had an amazing experience with reserved seating, and the food was fantastic – even after being worried by other reviews. Our server Leo gave excellent recommendations, and the La Paloma and Cochinita Pibil were the best I’ve had in the US. The Queso appetizer was delish, the Enchiladas Suizas so tasty, and my whole family really enjoyed the meal. My only complaint is that the music was a little loud at times.

The most delicious Vegan and vegetarian meal I’ve had in a long time.
Friendly staff. Kid friendly. Worth the short wait and walk!
Everything is made fresh. They do not outsource anything. Even their corn tortillas our house made same with their rice. Unbelievable tastes and textures, and the sauces are out of this world.

Ambience was great after a long day of walking. Ordered the tacos and for 30 bucks they were not worth it. 4 tacos and the filing was separate. Flavor was good but not worth the price. Would hesitate to recommend.
Waitress Manuela was pleasant and attentive.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Good Food, Great Service, and a Fun Dessert Gimmick
We dined at Frontera Cocina at Disney Springs and had a great overall experience.
Food & Service
The food was very good — flavorful, fresh, and well presented. I had the ribeye steak, which was nicely seasoned and cooked just right. My friends ordered other dishes that looked fantastic and came in generous portions.
The service was excellent. Staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating, even adjusting a few items for dietary needs without hesitation. Everything arrived promptly, and our server was attentive throughout.
Dessert
The Chocolate Skull dessert was definitely a showstopper. You get a small wooden mallet to crack it open — a fun and creative idea that makes for a great photo moment. That said, the dessert inside didn’t quite live up to the presentation. It’s a novelty for sure, fun once, but I wouldn’t order it again.
Atmosphere
The restaurant has a beautiful, colorful décor, and the visuals are striking. However, I wasn’t a big fan of the death-themed elements throughout — possibly because we visited in October. I understand the cultural significance of Día de los Muertos, and it was tastefully done, but it’s just not my personal preference. Probably not somewhere I’d bring the whole family, though it was fine for a night out with friends.
Overall Experience
Prices were fair for Disney Springs, especially considering the quality of food, portion sizes, and attentive service.

Final Verdict:
Good food, great service, lively atmosphere, and reasonable prices for a sit-down Mexican spot at Disney Springs.
4 stars – would visit again, but likely without the kids.

Awesome atmosphere and food. Samantha (Sam) was our wonderful friendly server and recommended the traveling taco but it looked like a large pizza with a delicate crispy crust. The crust is made from a special kind of yellow corn. Delicious!! Highly recommend!

I decided to give this place a try, but our experience was TERRIBLE! As a Spanish family, I’m ashamed to say that this place disrespects the name ‘Mexican food’. The tacos were dry, everything was bland, and don’t even get me started on the ‘authentic’ tortillas. My abuela cooks better than this. 0/5 stars, would not recommend to my worst enemy. On top of that, it’s super pricey! For a family of 6 (two kids), we paid $260, just for tacos and enchiladas, NOT ordering alcoholic beverages nor their “top gourmet meals”. We might be better off with frozen Mexican food from the grocery store. Only good thing was our server, Uriel. However, there is nothing authentic or gourmet about the food. Beyond horrible!!

I got the carnitas tacos and surprisingly they were great. The wife ordered the shrimp tacos and love them. Definitely a great experience and will return for some good Mexican food.
